No need to call him a snake at the end of the day he has the right to choose what club he wants to play for.

Also he didn't go awol.

As Rio Ferdinand said he will be known as a failure at Manchester United, for the few goals he scored he got 6.2 million for each one, in my eyes he quit

I really hope LVG comes out with some 'warm' words for him. That would make my day.

His best ever league return is 7 goals!!! For gods sake he's a wing forward who scores minimal goals! Yet he's held in a similar regard to robben and by some even in the Messi/Ronaldo level. The guy is and always will be a passenger. Spend some time and look at his stats, stats in one of the best club and national teams of an era and they are crap bar the assist one where he got to pass to Ronaldo at club level or Messi at national level. The assist stay is a dangerous one as if you give the ball to Messi on your 22 and he skins 11 player and scores a worldly from nowhere you still get the assist. That's AdM's bread and butter. Terrible ball retention, terrible pass stats, non existent defensive contribution. Passenger

Time to move on? Would rather read about who is still at the club and who might be coming in?

I'd even rather a Rooney debate. Ok maybe not.
