Ed001 if you are still around, who do you think out of our realistic targets will be our next right midfielder? It's an area we are lacking in. I suspect it will be Mane.

{Ed001's Note - he is the realistic target from what I have been told, though it will probably be the summer before any move happens.}

Cheers ed. I expected as much, although I'm not sure he is the man to propel us forward - good name never the less though. Please let's have a good summer of Stones, Barkley, Mané and Kane! Unlikely I know, but strengthening from within the league has many benefits.

That would be great, 50 mill on Kane, 40 mill on Stones, 35 on Barkley and get a bargain price on Mane, say 30 mill. that's my dream transfer window. And of course they will get the nice United wage, around 150-250k a week sounds about right.

{Ed004's Note - This is the year where we avoid signing premiership players IMO. With the new tv deal they will all cost a fortune. Only player I would look at would be John Stones as his potential is outstanding and even at that might be better off going for Laporte, Varane or Marquinhos. Barkley will probably go for close to what Pogba will go for}

Stou - wouldn't accept 40 million for Stones mate as already turned close to that off the plastics in London, probably looking at 50 million minimum, I think we would take 35 for Barkley though but then again massive improvement in him this season, all our players are on long contracts too so doesn't help you guys, Kane would be a major issue as Levy is king at negotiating and Kane is happy so wouldn't rock the boat, knowing Levy he will probably go for 90 million lol.

Not a hope with kane. Can see him at us for at least another 4 years!

Batshuayi, Haller, Dybala or Alcacer should be brought in to replace Rooney and get him off the wage bill too!

Big fan of Barkley and agree Laporte should be bought in?

Out of all the names banded around on here stones is the one I would break records of get! Good player now and the potential to be one of England's best ever cb imo I think if fergie was still in charge we would have already gone all out for him, saying that I don't think he will be an easy buy by any stretch Everton seems like a cracking club to play for and it doesn't look like he is in any rush to leave.

Interesting argument ED! Players will be extortionate, but equally we seem to be happy to pay extortionate money for them. I think Stones and Kane will be two of our top targets and I expect that we will pay what it takes to get two top young English players. Mane will also be on the list and then an unrealistic target again like Bale, Neymar or Ronaldo.

{Ed004's Note - I think Woodward will want atleast one marque signing and it will most likely be a forward. Mane is a very good player but for anything over 30 million we should start looking elsewhere and no idea how much Kane will cost. So wouldn't go near him}

Stones, Laporte, Barkley, Sane and Gabriel Barbosa would be my prefered purchases. I would sell Fellani, Mata, Smalling and Rooney.

I can see DDG going at the end of the season too, hopefully not though! I'd like Butland if he did leave.

If I were to pick a Spurs player it would be Dele Alli over Kane. He looks like he'll be a top box to box player plus it's always nice to add some British lads. It's a shame there isn't a top left footed British CB out there.

You'd sell Smalling and Mata? Why? Why get rid of our best CB and best player?

Smalling is staying, just need someone the other side of him? Mata, love him, but too slow? Daley Blind covers left back?

Tielemans to replace Carrick, Butland to replace De Gea (sickens me to say) I hasten to add!

Rooney played his part, time to move and bring in a new striker/winger to help Martial?

Be it Lukaku or Batshuayi? Maybe even Griezmann?

We do need pace though?

Spok, I would sell them both yes. Smalling is protected far to much, the CBs are the reason we play two holders and don't let the full backs forward. Mata is to slow, we'd get decent money for him in the summer.

Lukaku and Martial as a new partnership for me.
