Perisic fee allegedly agreed.46m plus add ons. steep.

Why is it steep when Lukaku is going for 75mil?

Correct me if I am wrong but hasn't Perisic done and achieved more in his career than Lukaku?

Goal scorers always command a bigger fee maze. Plus Lukaku is just 24.

Just my view - the original rumour, correct me if I'm wrong, was us after him because he was a cheaper option to other alternatives. Not doubting his ability or medal collection.

Where you hearing this from?

It's literally from a friend that does a bit of footy journalism - it's a rumour page after all so thought I'd pass on.

Maze, what has acheivement got to do with his fee, aside from the fact that they play in different positions.

Steven Gerrard won 1 CL trophy and 0 PL titles.

Wesley Brown won 2 CL trophies and 5 PL titles.

So I guess Wesley Brown was a better player and worth more then?

Guys, dnt get into an argument, it's simply some info I've passed on.

Betty your point makes almost zero sense. Why are you comparing Wes Brown and Gerard? The point is that the OP is saying a huge fee is very steep for Perisic yet Inter Milan have a right to ask for what they want as he is their player.

Why would they let a valuable asset who has had a distinguished career leave for a bargain basement value when they have just seen United shell out a whopping fee for a player playing mid league PL football?

That's right betty 😂.

Maze, you were clearly linking price and acheivement. If that makes zero sense to you, then why post it in the first place? Yet again looking for reaction and a row.

Betty,

I think once you realse the last 8 words are true in almost all of his posts it does make it a little easier to ignore. I am trying my best to not get involved now as he will contradict his own opinion to rattle people, like a troll would do.

Perisic had 11 or 12 goals and 12 assists in the Italian league, which is not a high scoring league playing for a pretty poor team. I don't understand people questioning every deal based on price.

He is exactly what we need to play on the right as no one in our set up plays well there and team sold up the left side to counter Rash or Martial.

money / fees/ transfers/ the biggest divisive issue on this site - Swansea apparently want 40-45 mill for siggudson from Everton if we believe the tabloids. that's more than Vidal went to Bayern for , its 70% of a Verratti . madness, no point trying to fathom it.

Persic for more than 35 mill to me seems steep, but he is the same age as Sanchez - if he scores 10 goals next season and 10 assists it will be money well spent.

X Files, what makes you think Serie A is not a high scoring league? That's just and old cliche that has no evidence to back it up. There were in fact more goals in Serie A than the Premier League last year.

Betty correct Wes was a better player.

Ozzy

Its a very low scoring league. I think Juve won 13 games 1-0 or maybe even more. Do you have stats on that statement.

Its ridiculous for people to think dier is worth 50 or 60 mill who for me does nothing in terms of assist or a telling pass or goals from midfield but question a genuine wide man which we have not had for donkeys years and then everyone complains about our lack of goals and offensive output and blames the manager.

I trust Jose and let him buy what he thinks is right for us and the football on the pitch will speak for itself.

We are the same group who used to think Cleverly and Janusaj were going to be world beaters.

Unrelated to this, what has happened to wilson and is he still with the club?
