Goal have to be the worth for transfers. But you never know.

Although if he decided to undermine the manager and sell him to us.

Possibility of causing another problem with a manager.

I think given the glazers rep they haven't really dictated what the manager does.

Matt Law apparently reported it as well. He's pretty reliable when it comes to Chelsea dealings.

He's never worth 50m that's insane.

I've always thought "matches" was a bit stick like and not built for the prem.

Lee,

Nobody is 'worth' what teams are willing to pay.

Rather take Fabinho for 'reportedly' less money imo.

Who cares what MUFC spend. If they happen to save 5-10m on buying a player, how much of it will any of us see 😂.

If we didn't sign Lukaku and don't pay £50m for Matic and didn't waste money on Depay, Schweinsteiger for example.

We could potentially be signing Neymar right now!

It irks me when people think the money doesn't matter. Wasted excess fees for players means we don't have it in the kitty for truly worldclass players when they become available. I don't understand why that is difficult to follow. We have wasted literally hundreds of millions in recent years by either overpaying for signings or making ridiculous signings. Same thing with overpaying wages (and agents) so we let players go for way below their true value.

There are excuses/ reasons of course, but for the amount of money we have spent over the past 4 years you would think our squad would have a lot more about it on paper than it currently does. Saying the money doesn't matter is short term thinking, there is a budget to work with and overpaying every time we do a deal has repercussions further down the line.
