Thought Jose wanted to keep him but must mean at least two midfielders coming in surely.

Best news this window. Some people will be surprised if its true as they think jose rates fellaini when In fact he was only probably playing him as he had no alternative most of the time. Need to hey him and a couple of others out the door.

Ken
Lol lol lol.

Surprising we would let Fellaini go unless a replacement is imminent.

{Ed004's Note - If Fellaini goes we have to sign 2 midfielders or we will be very short}

5.) 29 Jul 2017
29 Jul 2017 16:59:03
Not sure we will sign 2. Matic will surely sign now, but Jose had brought back Pereirra to the first team after his loan. He may even draft another youngster in or play TFM more who may actually be a better player than good old Fellaini.

The wig is about to turn 30 and has 12month month left on his contract so makes sense for club and player .

The lad was booed and you only have to see kens comment above to see the standard of fans we have.

I have massive admiration for fellaini. He wears his heart on his sleeve, gives 110% Everytime he plays and does exactly what's asked of him.

Shame he never seems to get the respect.

8.) 29 Jul 2017
29 Jul 2017 17:46:52
The one thing about fellani is he will give you 100% on the pitch, He will get stuck in and make it hard for the opposition.

Absolutely hated the idea of fellaini at UTD when he signed.

But now i'd be dissapointed to see him leave. I have a lot of respect for him and be has given us his all and as a sqaud player to bring on he brings an edge that we haven't had with other squad players

Should NEVER be booed.

10.) 29 Jul 2017
29 Jul 2017 18:27:17
Sure he gives his all - but my heart sinks every time he pulls on a red shirt. Nowhere near good enough and I'd rather see a younger player get a chance than him play. He deserves a move where he'll play every week.

Fellaini won't be leaving.

2 in - veratti and sanches would do. Haha.

If and a big IF we could sign veratti that would be a massive signing.

Jred,

Have to agree, some of these comments proper embarrassing from so called fans.

15.) 29 Jul 2017
29 Jul 2017 18:47:04
Pay me £60k a week and I'll give 110% too, but that just not enough is it. He lacks quality and if we want to get to the top again players who lack quality need replacing. I hope it's true.

16.) 29 Jul 2017
29 Jul 2017 19:24:26
Zero chance veratti is coming to united.

17.) 29 Jul 2017

Stand, agree 100% as we've spoken about many a time.

18.) 29 Jul 2017
29 Jul 2017 20:35:29
Embarrassing? He's a terrible footballer. Yes he gives everything but that's praising someone for doing their job. My minimum expectation of anyone doing a job is to give 100% all the time. He's probably amazed he's got the chance to pull on our red shirt. Note it's Galatasaray buying him, no other teams of any note anywhere in Europe are after him.

There a reason we finished 5th and 6th and it's because of too many players like him in the squad.

I'd never boo him though when I'm at OT. Anyone who does that quite frankly needs their tickets revoking.

29 Jul 2017 20:39:57
So called? Gds. What makes you a better fan than anybody else sane for you jred full of your self rightous crap. You are no better fans than anybody else. i'm Supporting the club as long as either of you and have never booed a player on the pitch. I said at the end of lsst seadon i never wanted to see rooney or fellaini pull on the shirt again becsuse they sre not good enough.
Fellaini always tried 100% not doubting that but he is bot good enough talent wise despite the effort.
This squad is poor imo and i'm entitled to say it.
Last season for the most part we had a right winger playing right back a right back playing left back a midfiekder playing cb. A 36 yo was our top scorer. Fellaini played 20 plus games. We have finished 5 4 5 6th for last 4 seasons no other squad had done as poorly for such a long period for 25 yeas so yes this is the worst squad for 25 years. Or let me put it another way its the worst run of leage finishes for 25 years the worst cl run (or non run) for 25 years. ergo the worst performing squad for 25 years.

20.) 29 Jul 2017
29 Jul 2017 20:43:08
doesn't matter if he gives 100% or not he's not good enough end of, i'd love to see him go and I'd like to see 2 or even 3 central midfielders come in.

21.) 29 Jul 2017
29 Jul 2017 21:40:24
He mightened be the best player, A bit clumsy, but he was bought in to United and he gave his all might not have been good enough but it was a disgrace to boo him.
We all want the best players for United but if you have a few flair and fancy players in the team you win nothing, you need that hard good tackling player that breaks up Play, The one that gets in your face, the one that demands 100% from everyone around him,
At the minute our defence needs looking at, We have one top defender Bailey and he is only settling in to the league, smalling Jones Blind, Not good enough, Shaw too many chances imo. We have the keeper, We need a lb and another CD. With experience.
Lindeof, too early to say.
So before we blame fellani ask why we had to sit 2 players some games in front of the defence.

22.) 29 Jul 2017
29 Jul 2017 22:04:16
I don't actually see what's wrong with kens comment. He's not called him he's just saying it how it is. I Was at the Tottenham game where he was booed which was ridiculous and I've been many other games where he's been the worst player on the pitch. Always gives us his all but not good enough. If our standard of fans is wanting better for the club then good on them.

23.) 29 Jul 2017
29 Jul 2017 22:31:50
Im not blaming fellaini at all leahy. I've been saying for a while that the quality in depth is not there. Fellaini blind smalling rojo are all playing to the best of their ability and that's 4th or below. The problem is they have been 1st team regulars too often. When jones won his epl medal he was a pit part player starting 14 times smalling 11 times we won't win a league witb them starting 25 times same with blind or fellaini or rojo imo. Back up players are needed but at a club like ours none of these guys should even be 1st reserve and i think i would rather have youth as my 2nd reserve for most positions.
Shaw is getting another chance nobody would begrudge him that let's hope he can deliver and repay the faith shown in him.

Ken, you have some good points and some bad points to offer, we have no power over who United sign, but as fans we have to back the player who puts on a red shirt, now fellani wasn't the best player but when he came in he did his job, got on with it took stick from his own fans, opposition fans, the media, but luckily the man is made of thick skin, wherever he goes I will wish him the height of luck and happyness,

Now if I was looking at a player not to give a stuff about it would be the like of di Maria, depay and so on, they didn't give a f**k about United too self observed,
I love a player who will give you 100% and who cares about the shirt he puts on,
We all have opinions, different ones;

Ken I agree with some things you say, and I agree with jred, and sometimes I agree with gds2 even though we often had a go at each other.
Respect every other boys, We support the same team at the end of the day.

25.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 09:30:51
Leahy
You mean support your players not just the ones you rate?

Imagine if we didn't support a team that could buy the best players in the world .
Then again that's why we attract certain fans.

26.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 10:10:46
Id rather have ambitious fans ones that know that quality and standards must be maintained but some fans are ostrich like brain dead morons that just follow the leader and those fans are a lot more concerning to ny mind. i'd rather do without the sheep. If it was up to the like if you jred we would still be playing rooney in midfield and supporting that because he used to be a good player for us. that's BS. Call a spade a spade and have a mind of your own.

27.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 10:35:43
If it was up to jred you would support your team because your a man United fan good or bad .

What would you do if the money dried up . support an other team.
