Spurs had a bid rejected for martial.

Would be a cracking move for him personally to play under pochetino especially after ed002 stated that jose wouldn't mind letting him go.

Ken, mourinho has come out and said he wants a winger who can get 15 odd goals a season, that's exactly what martial has done in his first season.

He just needs to be backed by the manager with a solid run in the team.

Why sell to Spurs? Loan him elsewhere at worst, or keep and develop him at best! There's a great player there.

martial needs games but if jm likes perisic so much put martial in with the deal for a loan to inter for 12mth be better than selling him if it doesn't work out at inter then maybe think about selling him next year.

People don't want Bale because of his injury record but want us to sign Rose who has played pretty much the same amount of games. As for Martial, he needs to pick up this year or I think he will be on his way. Jose is pretty black and white when it comes to players, you are in or you are out, Martial needs to decide which it is.

I think it would be madness to sell him to spurs. He is so so young and if we were stupid enough to sell him to spurs, he will rip it up in that team.

People should go see tapes of Morata, Lukaku, kane, Bale, Benzema, lewondowski and the list goes on when they were 20/ 21, maybe then you will realize how good he is and he needs time and playing on a consistent basis.

Lingard is very average iMO and it will be about if Jose can live with Martial's mistakes/ flaws to allow him to grow as a player.

Nothing wrong with the kids head and nothing wrong with shaw either. They are so young they will need playing time and will mature and learn and become smarter football players by experience as both have all the talent you want in a young player. The pressure of playing for a club like us is immense by both our fans and the media who loves a bad story about us and people need to cut them some slack.

Martial clearly had issues last year because of his personal life.

You can have all the talent in the world but if you can't mentally cope with the pressure of playing for a big club then its going to have an effect.

We need a large squad. No need to sell players unless they offer nothing to the team. We have a very good squad. On paper a very strong first XI. I'd offload players who add nothing, keep the players who add something, even if off the bench.

Selling martial would be madness unless we had a buy back clause. He is going to be a top player, he is still young and has that something special and can change a game. Given a decent run in the team and i'm sure he will shine and change a few on heres opinions.

In a market where teams will blow their bank account for young talented players its counter intuitive to go sell young talent with huge potential because they are not the seasoned product. They get there by being able to play.

Most of us would have never seen Rashford had it not been for the injuries and the kid getting a chance. Michael keane was also deemed not good enough but a full season of playing elsewhere did wonders for the kid.

I think Martial is a top top player and better than a lot of players people mention and needs playing time. Its a long season and injuries will happen and we will need guys like him who can make a difference.
