For the way jose sets up his team a player of his type is fundamental to the set up. There are not many better players of his type anywhere. casimeriro at mafrid is another.

Its a role very under valued by many its only when you see a player playing the role as well as matic plays it that you appeeciate what it can bring to a team.
I think he has been great so far. He is one of the real specialists in the squad where we don't have a direct replacement in the squad. Carrick is the closest i suppose but he is not as aggresive. I have seen it mentioned here that TFM might be his understudy I the long-term.

In his role he is one of the best in the world so in todays market we got him at a great price.

Great player. I can't understand why Chelsea let him go. and Mata.
And kevin d. b. why the left him go.
That's 3 players that would make Chelsea favourites for the title.
