Well lads here we are. Completely and utterly out classed. They came to Old Trafford and made us look very average. The one thing I must say we have failed massively in recruitment.

I'll explain, we are currently playing with Valencia and young in the full back areas, Whilst they have performed admirably, they're not good enough. City have Walker and when fit mendy, a massive upgrade.
We move into the midfield and I must say they're light years ahead. Pogba is world class, but he wouldn't have made a huge difference there. Our options are Pogba, Matic, Herrera, Fellaini and Carrick. You could maybe bring young mctominay into that list. City brought gundogan off the bench for heavens sake.
Forwards wise we are okay, but the midfield and defence needs a huge improvement of quality.

There's a lot of areas that need addressed and unfortunately it takes a game like that where ( and I hate to say this ) we play someone just a step up in class.
We aren't a million miles of, but we aren't as close as we think I'm aftaid.

Sorry FZZ but what I mean is one player in pogba would not have turned that game around and we would have won 3-0. Look at the squad depth of both sides, if De Bruyne is missing for city they have gundogan, the two silva’s. who do we have? Fellaini, Herrera or mctominay?

To be fair, they were playing with a midfielder at left back, and he's done pretty well so far, apart from today's slip up.
