Timo Werner has stated if he could, he would like to play for Man Utd. Do you know if this is something United have looked at? Or may act on?

Like Martial or Rashford he can play right across the front 3 positions and in my opinion would be a pretty good signing. Not my first choice but still a good option.

From now we need to target players who can take us to the next level.
We already have 6 forwards fighting for 3 spots.
Werner doesn't seem to be a significant upgrade amongst the current options.

Imo Timo Werner would be an upgrade on our striker options having said that he doesn't appear to be an option ed002 gave a reply to a similar question on the European page 😁.

Werner is best utilised through the middle. If we signed him and played him out wide it'd be a disaster. Doubt it will happen anyway - Bayern need new blood after all.

Ed002 said he would be interested in moving to us but we are not interested in him. I like him I think he is a talented player and can play across the front 3. He did disappoint in the World Cup but no German player really covered themselves in glory. I would love to sign him but I assume he will be off to Bayern in the near future.

I quite like Werner however, I would like to see one more season of Lukaku under potentially the guidance of Solskjaer.
He has all the physical attributes to be a dominant striker, he can score goals in the league and at International level. I just think he needs some guidance and coaching to fine tune the areas that really let him down, 1st touch, movement off the ball and a bit of composure in front of goal. I appreciate these are all very important things but like I said, he just needs fine tuning as it seems his professional career he has got by on his raw talent that got him to this standard but since then, no one has really developed him to go onto the next level like a Drogba. A good pre season under someone like Solskjaer could really unlock that potential and take him from a 15-20 goals a season to a regular 25-30 goals a season.

I agree we need players who can take are upgrades, however, we have thought a lot of players we have signed over the past few years are upgrades and they have been poor.

Also it's hard to see Mata (wonderful player but not physically able to press and counter at pace) and Sanchez (has pretty much been a disaster all round) having much of a future here so we need to sign an attacking player.

Like I said he isn't my first choice but he's 22 years old, can play all 3 forward positions, is very quick, played at a high level for the last 3 or 4 seasons and he actually wants to play for United. Compared to other options for attacking positions we've been linked with such as Perisic or Bergwijn, I think he is pretty good option.

Werner in and Lukaku out.
