Hi Ed's. First time poster but long time reader. Great site by the way. I saw Ivan Perisic handed in a transfer request today. He's been heavily linked with Arsenal recently and if memory serves correctly Ed02 did say our interest didn't end when Mourhino left. So I'm wondering would Mr Woodword be tempted in making a move in the next few days. Would be a bad idea in my opinion as we've more than enough forwards at the moment. Thanks as always!

{Ed002's Note - Inter will make a decision tomorrow and that is likely to be driven by the replacement they have settled on arriving. Manchester United remain keen on the player but not the price. Arsenal are keen but only want a loan.}

Interesting, hope we don’t do anything silly. He isn’t the right profile for the club right now and his numbers are poor.

Would rather look to Lozano.

Maybe Perisic is being considered for the wing back position.
Otherwise taking into account his age, he doesn't seem to be right purchase.

I really Hope we don’t sign him! Not needed at the club. Defence is where we neee to invest.

There is a thing with Lozano, railing against authority during his time with Pachuca, being involved in on-field incidents with little provocation, and picking up eight red cards despite at a young age: five with Pachuca, one with the Mexico U-23 team, and two red cards in his first season at PSV. Although a good prospect, i would rather move away from such hot heads, something that the team doesn't want right now.
