I've just read that Bale's move to China has fallen through. I wonder if this will have any impact in Pogba moving to Madrid?

You would have to expect that a collapse of that deal would have an effect. Real cannot afford Pogba without offloading Bale or other players.

He will Join united (same wages) (woodward panic buy writen all over this) he will be apart of the Pogba deal but bale will join for free with no effect on pogab fee. united will be better off giving him basic pay of £150k a week and then the rest on game time in his first year to prove fitness and commitment . IMHO i think Bale is lazy and just likes playing golf, distant from team mates and just don't care . i can also see maybe madrid paying bales 20% wages if there is a fee to united .

stay well away i say. I just have this feeling .

I do believe united will get HM and a BF .

MMR please be wrong. We must stay away from Bale.

Regardless of whether Bale does or does not join Utd I would suggest the following: a fit Bale would be an asset to virtually every team. If we were to sign him and he kept fit then it would improve our offensive threat and he would be an inspiration to the younger players. It would also mean our opponents would be far more wary of us.

Salford, and there in lies the problem “a fit Bale”

His wages would also likely continue the current disparity that we saw create problems last season.

While Bale can still be a great player on his day there’s too much downside for my liking.

Bale is reportedly currently on 600k per week. He isn't going to take a pay cut.

So we would need to match his current wages at least.

He just isn't worth that sort of money when you consider his injuries. Why do you think Real Madrid are desperate to get him off the books.

I can see it now bale and sanchez taking short of a million each a week and non of them playing

It's got united written all over it.

He's not part of OGS's plan at all and i think Ole will block that move full stop . If they do sign him then its just for marketing . same goes for Dybala i like dybala and he could be a good coup for us but my footballing brain with ole's system says go for dembele of lyon instead if lukaku goes. that's not to say i wouldn't mind Dybala .

A good window for me would be

AWB
James
Bruno
Magiure
SMS
Dembele (lyon) (lukaku leaving)

De Gea Signing new contract
Pogba staying and platyng his heart out . (cant see it though)

Why wouldn't he take a pay cut? Do you think he would be happy to spend the next three or four years as a footballer, sitting in the stands? I find it hard to believe any top player would choose that over a pay cut.

I didn't say we should sign him. I just recognise that when he is fit he is still a great player. If a deal could be struck that meant he would be paid according to minutes spent on the pitch he could yet be an inspired signing for someone.

{Ed0333's Note - An inspired signing for Doctors Without Borders maybe?

Didnt United brief journalists on tour that they were not interested in Bale?
