Dean Hendersons contract expires on June 2022 surely we will bring him back next year with some sort of road map that he is the future and he has that year to prove he is better than De Gea?
What we don't factor in is the pressure of being our No 1 as every mistake is critiqued like no other! He is only 22 but I think we run a risk of losing him if we don't prove to him he has a future! I think a year back here fighting it out with DDG would be beneficial to him!

Not if he's sat in the bench. Also, it's not much use if de Gea sits on the bench for £350k a week either. I think one has to go but there are only a limited number of clubs who will take de Gea on that money.

Imagine if Real Madrid came in for Henderson next year. that would cause a stir.

Ed002, I think you said Madrid aren't too happy with Courtois. Are they interested in de Gea and do you think there is a possibility they could move for Henderson?

{Ed002's Note - Real Madrid have no interest in him at this time.}

Not great either if DDG is on the pitch making more mistakes getting 350k a week?

David being currently dissed and taken as a liability, is a big joke after all he did in “carrying” United post-Fergie era. Read Schmeichel’s view about this on the official United page. And that’s Peter speaking with experience and expertise. I am not saying we should not keep or ready Henderson, but we should also not dismiss De Gea in terms of what he can still offer.

Henderson is a promising keeper, but he is not at DDGs level by any means yet. If he patient, he will replace him. He needs a loan move never year to a bigger club, with more pressure on him.
