Lets be realistic here, we are not going to beat madrid.

We have only just started our new formation and underleadership of a new manager.
Our defence is still weak and ronaldo n co will destroy us.
Fletcher has a very bad first touch.
Vidal is an absolute must. For that reason alone i'm 100 percent confident the deal is wrapped up.
too many signs that it isnt.
Losing Vidic and rio well only hummels is the pedigree that can fill such boots so I can only see us going full barrels to secure him.

After watching the game I for one am very excited for the future but certain players looked no where near others in terms of composure on the ball.

For people to say we are going to get some half pedigree players are daft .
the quality is needed to play real barca etc.
Not the usual 30% posession an hope for a counter.
Van haal has the option to buy big to be the best unlike netherlands where he can only choose what is dutch, and make something from that.

He like attacking fluid possession football. Without the Vidal's hummels di maria's of the world we aren't going to be what he wants.

Ever the optimist mate, half of the World Cup players for Madrid won't be playing they're still on holiday, I suspect both teams will make wholesale changes, but yes I agree Vidal is a must and I also think he will sign too, but tbh I think we will have a good go at the International Club Championship or whatever its called, the team looks rejuvenated and full of confidence and the 3-5-2 looks to suit us well, i'm a very optimistic for the future of MUFC.
