Pedro is starting for Barcelona vs Fiorentina. I don't understand why would Luis Enrique use a player who's leaving. I hope this is not a sign he's staying, but it's strange to me.

Remember that until a deal is done he remains a Barca player.also I don't believe they actually want to sell so why should they leave him out.

I read from 2 independent from each other sources that the deal is in place ( the 3rd one is Pedro's mother and she says Pedro is moving to England) I'm little frustrated that if done, it will be after the game with Tottenham.

Brad76, don't forget that United will pay the release clause, so if Pedro wants the move, there isn't much Barca can do to keep him.

I think release clauses are note for domestic transfers and does not apply when they are moving away from their league if i remember correctly.
