It was a real pleasure to watch Utd last night but we have to temper our enthusiasm with realistic views about the quality of the opposing team. They are not a good team. Arsenal will provide much sterner resistance on Sunday. Our defence is still way too porous especially with so many regulars out. We may come back to earth with a bump osundat and be beaten soundly. If that is the case I hope people don't go from one extreme to the other. High praise today and damn action then. Next season we have reason to be hopeful. Get all our major players fit and integrate a few new top quality additions and if there is continuity and a settled team and we will have a bright future. Meantime well done for last night. Let's enjoy such highlights.

I think the foundations for that win was built on the energy of a Schneiderlin - Herrera partnership. Full of energy - yes they missed a couple of sitters but one got forward and one stayed back like a proper partnership.

Definately a more pleasurable watch last night. Schniederlin intercepted balls, broke up play and had a good game, memphis played with a lot more confidence but he did start to get ahead of himself, showboating (shows a bit of immaturity but let him have that ) rashford, excellent debut great pace. All round decent team performance- only negative was when they attacked the makeshift defence did look both worried and vulnerable ; Arsenal may exploit that even more with their quality but it was definately an improvement.
