I always remember going back to an ex girlfriend. The sex was never as good and I'd forgotten all the little things that annoyed me. Yes, she could still look stunning and there were days when I wanted to marry her but deep down it was never the same and it ended badly. Looking back I should have remembered all the good times we had enjoyed and moved on.

Ronaldo was brilliant for us, he developed from a raw teenager to one of the world's best.

Press send by accident. He's still a great player but I have a coupe of issues with him:

1. His ego is immense, I don't think it would be good for the team, I don't think he plays for the team, he plays for himself.
2. The figures involved will be silly. I know we are rich and I know people think it's not our money but the fact remains if we spend stupid money on Ronaldo it limits what else we can do in terms of strengthening.
3. I am happy paying a massive fee for any player who we get many years from and can possibly sell on but not a player who is likely to start to diminish with every passing season.

And of course, the sex would not be as good.

{Ed004's Note - There are so many pros and cons to signing Ronaldo that I keep changing my mind as to whether I want him or not. If he comes in he almost instantly garuntees Top 4 or even a title challenge. His work effort would set a good example for our youngsters. He will take pressure of the likes of Pogba, Rashford, Martial etc. He comes back!
However, his age is a big concern. 2 or 3 years younger and he would be easily worth 100 mill+. Nowadays, if he wants to leave, and we are the only team he wants to go to. I'd be wanting to sign him for atleast under 100 million, maybe even under 80. This would allow us to sign full backs and a holding midfielder to get the best out of him. It would also leave us having imo the best goalkeeper, midfielder and striker in the premiership - also a case to argue for best centre back pairing if Lindelof settles quickly. In relation to his wages we have already moved on Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Depay, Ibrahimovic with the likes of Young, Rooney, Janujaz etc expected to go as well}

I had a similar experience but I had to pay her then boyfriend over £100m for him to let her come back to me, and then she wanted £500,000 a week to be with me.

Good post Tony. Outs a head wrecker.
I mean, who would not want him I their team. He is possibly the greatest player of all time. He is still playing on top of his game. His scoring stats are improving.
The numbers are frightening. It will mean a balancing of the books and possible lack of investment elsewhere.
Heart says yes and no.
Head says yes and no.
Anyway i don't believe he will move.

If he's only coming back because he's pissed off about a tax bill then I think we should forget about it.

Go get Ronaldo and Morata. Just think of the statement of intent that will make to the rest of the Premier league wannabes 😆😆.
