"It's easier for galatasaray to get me than maraouanne, No chance " Mourinho 😂😂 oh and it looks like matic is almost over the line 😊😊😊.

Good, most posters below have already sold him.

Fellaini is not a starter for me personally but he is a damn good player. He rarely puts his foot wrong but when he does (as does every player) it's blown out of proportion.

I hope he stays.

I hope he does leave angel i just don't think he is good enough.

Agreed angelred. We're definitely in the minority but Fellaini is a great squad player, puts his head down, and offers something completely different to the team.

4.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 20:56:32
Squad player, maybe, but he tends to start more games than he's on the bench. as a holding midfielder, which he most certainly is not. Bestbe looking for clubs to loan out our youth prospects like Pereira and McTominay out to pretty soon, they won't get a look in. i'm particularly excited to go to OT to see the dads army combinations of Matic and Fellaini, Matic and Carrick or Carrick and Fellaini.

I think he is good enough for the squad Ken personally. We've had many a player down through the years who weren't deemed as 'good enough' but were always an integral part of the team and squad.

I think people and fans always wish him to do poorly when in reality he hasn't really been that poor a player for us. Many times been one of the best on the pitch.

The last number of years we have lacked players with backbone and fight in them and he is one of those kind of players. Jose seems to like him a lot and that's good enough for me.

30 Jul 2017 21:07:00
Not that much of a minority lads I for one am glad that fellaini stays he is trustworthy and he will run through walls for the shirt .
Everyone seems to forget that through our most successful periods we had players like fellaini who could be trusted to put the graft in
Reading some of the stuff on here you'd think our success was built on 23 galactico style mega stars it was not.

7.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 21:12:37
Assuming Hererra and Matic play, that leaves Fellaini on the bench. Where does that leave our youngsters like Peorera who has potential to be twice the player Fellaini is?

30 Jul 2017 21:17:29
Good squad player to have.
This time last year we were linked with gomes 50 million. I've watched him a few times through the season, We dodged a bullet there, I'd have fellani above him all day long.
Go on the wig great game today.

9.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 21:21:52
Presuming we will play 433 Matic/ Carrick, Herrera/ Periera, Pogba/ Fellaini as the Mf options, mctominay may be too soon for a regular slot yet.

Negotiations broken down with Gala already? That was quick.

11.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 21:26:48
Listen angel i think the guy always gives gives best but at united i'd rather a player of his ability should only be 2nd or 3rd reserve for any position he has played 20 plus league games for 4 seadons and ee only finished 5 4 5 6th in the league simetimes effort is not enough. Its not him alone there are another half dozen so far behind the level required that we keep finishing beliw the level some of us expect. Jose will get it right i'm suee.

12.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 21:30:20
@Deano

I agree with you. he isn't particularly skilful and not a superstar by any measure, but like Lingard, always puts in a shift and works hard amd has also scored some important goals for us.

I think he should stay and he provides that steel and getting stuck in, we sometimes need against more physical sides.

13.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 21:36:17
I remember last season fellaini getting his head down about 1 minute after being booked and getting sent off.

14.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 21:44:39
We will see Ken. Personally I don't mind him being there at all. I think he does the necessary when asked.

I think he will personally play less games though. Starter maybe in cup games and to give starters a break. I think he's been played more through necessity rather than priority.

15.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 21:50:52
I for one am pleased the wig is staying. He has grown on me over the past few season. If anything else, the guy has the heart to play for the club IMO.

16.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 22:08:47
So everyone who wants him to stay, please tell me his best position? Tell me where he plays? Do you want him as a number 10, or would you rather miki or mata? Do you want him as a number 6? Or are Matic and Hererra better options? He doesn't even have a position we know he's good in. He gives his all, so what? For £60k plus a week he bloody should do too! Why are fans so happy to see a player being committed! That's there bare minimum from ANY player. If find in games he's often erratic and gives away pointless and senseless fouls, usually around the box. I'd much prefer to see Peirera get game time and develop.

17.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 22:16:46
Dads army of Matic and Fellaini?! They're both 29! What's with the obsession for young and new shiny things. You don't win anything with kids 🤔.

18.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 22:34:30
Agree with Stand. He gives his all but he's useless. We're not Wimbledon for God's sake.

19.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 22:47:10
Where did I write that Eric? If you have ever seen my posts, I always state keeping the majority of the current squad and developing our own over bringing in new players, unless they're that proven next level player, like Neymar, Pogba etc. So please don't make up things that I've never said and are quite the opposite. The dads army related to static, slow footballers who don't bring much to the table in possession (carricks related to his legs going not his footballing ability)

20.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 23:18:24
Sydney! Blast from the past. Probably right. Use media to increase value.

21.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 23:18:42
Stand, you'll have to have a word with Jose. He seems to like him.

Did you hear his comments today?

I think he's better positioned to judge a player than us on here.

22.) 30 Jul 2017
30 Jul 2017 23:20:58
Fellaini has been an anchor on the team since he arrived. Even when he isn't blowing a game by giving away possession or a penalty, he stops the team from passing, moving, etc. Does he try hard? Sure. But I for one would be thrilled if we sold him. Anyone who wants him to stay, I have to wonder what they've been watching the last 3-4 years. Good luck to him. elsewhere.

23.) 31 Jul 2017
31 Jul 2017 01:08:04
Angel, what's the point of this site if we can't have our own opinion? Jose knows far more than me and you, but he's not right on everything, nobody is. And he can say 1 million times Fellaini is a top player he wants to keep and it won't make a difference to my opinion of him. If we openly put him on the market how many of Europes top 30 clubs would be in for him? Think we both know it's zero.

24.) 31 Jul 2017
31 Jul 2017 01:16:54
I think if Matic comes in or anyone else for that matter Felliani will not go away. He will push for a starting berth and I think more weeks he will find himself on the team sheet regardless of who Untied bring in.

25.) 31 Jul 2017
31 Jul 2017 03:19:50
And remember we are to play 4 competition this year. Fellaini is more than a capable to option to play the FA and the league cup games. People seem to forget that for every Scholes we have had a Fletcher and for every Giggs there's a park ji sung. We need players who play for the shirt. I would be pleased if he stays.

26.) 31 Jul 2017
31 Jul 2017 07:00:10
To compare Fellaini to Fletcher or ji sung park is an insult to these two players. They have more skill and awareness in their small finger nail than Fellaini will ever have.

27.) 31 Jul 2017
31 Jul 2017 07:56:38
Its actually comical. Not one person has come forward and answered the question. What position do you want to see Fellaini in if you're so keen to keep him on. Where is it that he has an effect on the game? Maybe Chelsea are holding out for a Matic straight swap because they're keen to add Wig to their squad to give them more options. We have finished in the CL positions once in four years, let's get a grip. As mentioned, when we used to finish top 2 consistently, our squad players were Park, Fletcher etc. who had far more footballing ability that MF. And as also mentioned, someone who tries and would run through brick walls for the shirt, what a kop out! So would I for 1% of their weekly wage, let alone the full whack. I drive through bricks walls if i'm late leaving for Old Trafford, and that's me paying for a ticket, food, petrol and parking, just to watch Fellaini start as a holding midfielder and to watch us fail to break down hull, bournemouth, burnley and then wonder why that is, and why we don't get in CL positions, and why others are ahead of us.

28.) 31 Jul 2017
31 Jul 2017 08:22:12
Fellaini is a different option, he is someone who can come of the bench and gives the manager a different option .
The abuse he gets on here is worse than being booed imo .
Imagine if some fans supported a team that couldn't spend millions .

29.) 31 Jul 2017
31 Jul 2017 08:35:39
Look at the clubs after Fellaini? Galatasaray. He's not good enough regardless of effort he puts in. Matic is a good signing as he frees up Pog and Ander to wreak havoc and even allows the likes of Miki and Tony Martial the freedom to not have to track back all the time.

30.) 31 Jul 2017
31 Jul 2017 09:01:29
But not having millions doesn't mean you have to play or enjoy tonk it to a big lad football. there's plenty of teams in the lower leagues with no coin that try to play decent football.

31.) 31 Jul 2017
31 Jul 2017 09:20:36
That's the managers choice.
