Here's a what if question.

Lets say Barcelona don't get Coutinho, so they decide to place a £100m bid in for Martial.

Who here would accept it?

I don't think Martial is worth any more than what we've already paid but I also think he could be worth that price one day in this market.

Might not be a tough decision for you lot but I'm finding it difficult to decide on what I'd do.

Easy decision. Its a no. I wouldn't sell them Fellaini even they offered 100 mill an messi. can't stand them as a club.

Id say no. There is no point in selling Martial for 100 mill and then going to buy another player with potential.

The money is irrelevant. Who would you buy to replace him? This is why Liverpool are not interested. EPL clubs have all the money they need. World class, or potentially world class players are in short supply.

I wouldn't sell Martial, Rashford for anything. The club doesn't need the money we need to get back to being one of the 3 best clubs in the world. Lingard, Smalling, Darmian and even Mata i would be willing to sell.

It's a no from me too.

If we could agree a deal for his replacement before word got out, I'd go for it.

Unfortunately, if other clubs found out about the deal in advance they'd take us to the cleaners and thus I expect we'd end up with an inferior player in exchange. After this window I can see prices continuing to rise to the point where £100m for Martial will look like a steal.

That Liverpool are able to turn down £100m+ for a player of Coutinhos standard still astounds me and is quite a scary reflection of where transfer fees are heading.

£100m. i am afraid that would be a yes from me.
I know he has potential, could become top quality but right now that is way above his market price.

So we can pay 120 mill for someone who is on par or potentially not as good with less upside? Answer is no. If anything can be learnt from what is going on in football at the moment is hang on to your young talent.

I was huge fan Dembele and kept going on and on about him before he went to Dortmund, I am not surprised about yje numbers as most teams will price what the player is worth down the line than what he is worth today.

I think Neymar for what he went for if you ignore marketing and branding value stuff as a footballer is not worth half the money. Like 95% percent of Brazilians will have a short shelf life and IMO overrated.
