Cant be negative after a 3-0 win -clean sheet a bonus, but we did look a little nervy, a bit stilted, with not a lot of free flowing football. let's be honest we could have conceded tonight once at least .

Wished Martial would go down the left more instead of cutting inside as he is really good when he does - shame he didn't score tonight.

Fellani- did more than enough -good peformance

Lindelof- a bit shaky at times but will grow into it.

Miki -will always be frustrating, does the hard things easily and the easy things he struggles with.3 yard passes for example

Rashford- gets it done

Young- reliable, happy if he sees out his contract with us

Fellani kept it simple last Nite, He stayed in the middle making tackles making it hard for the opposition.
When we got the ball out wide he got in their box and made it hard for them, attacking the ball with a bit of aggression and scored a goal.
I remember when we played Everton a few years back now he was one player that sticks out in my mind that caused vidic problems.
Jose knew what he was doing keeping hold of him.

i was more unimpressed with my own teams performance jred, we played more like a non league team than former winners of the european cup, they did look good though, hopefully united can stop them in the later rounds.

James the more they play together the better they will get.
Be interesting when they play bayren, even though bayren aren't the same team they were.

I think Rashford was average. His speed is good, he is willing to take on defenders, but when he gets in and around the penalty area, his decision making is really poor.

Mhki, by his standards, had a pretty off game. He missed a couple of good chances, but didn't let it affect him. He's still the best No. 10 that we have in the squad.

Lindelof, I think was quite good, considering this was his Champions League debut with United. Playing with Smalling is never easy, he has the ability to step into midfield, which works well when we need to press and maintain the pressure.

Fellaini put in a real shift. He was remarkable the way he played, even his passing was prety good.

Of course, we can improve further, no doubt in that, but I think we are building momentum right now, and this will help us.

Raghav - I think a rotation policy is of course necessary for all top temas but i think that means some players know they have 60 minutes or 90 minutes every 2nd game to make an impression and almost try too hard to impress - Rashford, Martial, Miki, Darmian, fellani fall into that category for me and it sometimes works against them - (Fellani was very good ) contrast that with Young, Carrick, who are in the same situation with selection but are at different points in their careers.

We are going in the right direction but I thought the players were a bit flat after such a big build up to getting back in the CL, and we definately could have conceded which might have forced us to step up a few gears which would have been interesting.
