Good evening,

No Shaw or McTominay in the U23 squad this evening.

So will either of them get a start on Wednesday?

I think Shaw will, but McTominay will have to settle for a place on the bench.

Hope to see shaw oxford. Mctoniney as you say will probably be on the bench when carrick herrera and fellaini needing minutes. Out well be interesting to see who plays up front. I'm hoping lukaku gets a rest he hasplayed a lot including 2 with Belgium. I would think the 11 could be romero darmian lindelof smalling blind. Carrick herrera fellaini jessie martial rashford . Possibles tuanzebe nctominey Wilson . if i was burton i'd see it as an opportunity many of those have hardly kicked a ball this season for the 1st team but there is enough class there to get through v burton i'd imagine. But they are a championship club these days so we need to give them sure respect and the players need to do their jobs professionally.

I wouldn't risk a midfielder Ken, we are thin on quality there so I'd leave one of Fellaini or Herrera or both out of starting line up. We prevented McTominay from going out on loan so he must have a role to play this season and he was good preseason. Shaw needs a start and no better time than against a struggling Burton at OT. I wouldn't risk both Martial and Rashford either. We have enough in Lingard and Martial. Martial will want a central role I'm sure. Plus Rash looked tired, I'd rest him. We will see, but I'd use Young left wing.

yeh just had a look at your team syd. Young played a full game on sunday so in think he will get a rest given he has just come back from a long lay off.

i think herrera will start with carrick in the middle. he only played 13mins and had not had that much footy so far this season.

Lingard and Martial should also start, so who takes the other 2 places in the front 4? Lukaku needs a rest as does matic. I would like to see mata and rashford, meaning miki also gets a rest.

shaw should start as should smalling and lindelof and for rb darmian . romero in goal.

tunz was also not in the u23 squad this evening but there were reports that he may be injured. let's hope not and he takes a seat next to mctominay on the bench.

I can't argue with Any of that syd but jose doesn't usually make even as many changes as I've suggested.
Its not who i would play but what i think he will play. Young will start if he is not starting next wkend i suppose.
Shaw may well start but i wouldn't bet on it. I hope he does.
I hope rash plays up front with martial left and jessie right.

I think it could be a range of possibilities, you never know with Jose, but I think De Gea, Valencia, Jones, Bailly, Matic, Miki, Mata and Lukaku won't play.

Probably why Mourinho wanted Perreira to stay and play in these type of games to settle in and not go on loan.
