Hey Guys and edds,

What is your outlook on CL winner this season? Is it time for english clubs to start dominate in competion again, or will it stay as it is with usual culprits in semifinals?

In my opinion, PL can make 2 semifinalist this year, not sure about winning it though.

Bayern - seems they are a bit aging and starting transition, would have them go out in last 8.

Dortmund - good side, but still level or 2 below top.

Atletico - very good side, but seems to regresed a bit in last 2 years, or not as strong as 2 years back.

Madrid - great side, one of the best teams ever. But ronaldo is slowly getting on, bale half a season out injured, modric not getting any younger and they seems to strugel in the league, although its still too early. Can they pull it of again?

Barcelona - great going forward, defence a bit doggy, plus loss of neymar amd not that great last couple of years, plus in transition?

Monaco - great young side that lost its best players.

Juventus - can they keep their consistency and make a finale step this year? With dyabala going strong.

Psg - can they make that step up and win it this year? Lots of great players plus neymar and mbape. I think being in final this year is a big possibility.

Then we have english sides.

Chealse - great balanced team, would have them down as possible finalist

Spurs - started well in CL this year, and can make last 8, but that woukd propably be it due to lack of experience.

City - great going forward with lethal attack but weak defence, can be found out.

Liverpool - with 8 "world class" players in their starting 11 plus "world class" manager in kloop, you never know.

United - much better balanced this year, with trasition almost done. Solid at the back, good going forward, but still short on winger and full backs. Got us for semifinal.

Who are the 8 "world class " Liverpool players? How can Klopp be described as world class when his team has defensive and goalkeeping issues that he either can't or won't address. Apart from that I agree with most of your post.

English teams should do well or better this year . Chelsea and United are both solid so should be hard to beat over 2 legs .
City are set up to go toe toe can they do that against the likes of barce and co .
Not sure what to make of the scouse .
Spurs could be a real dark horse but have they got a deep enough squad for the league and Europe.

Good post Tin good assesments imo.
Madrid have had a sluggish start but were without ronaldo. They are still the yeam to beat imo. Really poor window we have seen here over tbe years if you don't invest in new players especially when your winning then players go stale and can become complacent if their place is not challanged.
If we can keep our top players fit for the latter stages we can put it up to anyone. We have not played a top side yet all our games have been won against teams in bottom half and burton basle and the worst of the lot cska. Not having a dig just tempering expectations. We have battered most of them so we can do no more than we have been. But when it comes to the big matches we need our best 11 to compete. (That can be said for most teams madrid are a case in point)

Jesus junction that was obvious sarcasm.
I would fear liverpool a lot more if they had any other msnager except for klopp. He is a tool and will drag that club back into the gutter. A total bufoon.
