Very quiet on here, I guess it's the calm before the storm, the big game on Saturday.

Last night's game didn't tell us a great deal given Swansea rested players as well but I thought the application and desire was much improved. 2 good goals from Jesse who gets a lot of stick on here, I think if he bulked up a bit he would improve and be a lot harder to knock off the ball.

Impressed with McTominay who didn't look out of place but the back four still, had some twitchy moments. Martial tried harder but had very little impact and I don't think Jose left his seat throughout the game.

Decent game, good result, now on to the bigger test on Saturday.

Your right about the stick Jesse gets, but a lot of our team could learn from his movement. He is always on his toes and moving. Too many of our players are flat footed and receive the ball stood still, making life very easy for defenders.

I like the look of young Scott, Jesse staking a claim for a start, as you say hard to gauge but a win, decent football, confidence should have been uplifted a little, pity RedRom couldn’t have come on to score which I think was Jose intent to bolster his personal confidence but all in all good prep for Spurs this Saturday which of course will be totally different to Swansea but we’ve a good record v them at OT and I sense we will be right up for this and in their faces, can see us putting in a performance and kicking on.
On a separate note, I see Pep is balking the match ball for his 0-0 with Wolves, imagine the stick other mangers would get for such excuses.

Love lingard, not the most talented but pkays hus arse off and loves the Game and UTD.

Scored some important goals last couple seasons byt he still gets stuck on here which baffles me.

Imagine the carnage on here if jose had drawn with wolves and used those ecuses! This site would be packed and calls for jose out would fill these pages.

AJH- AGree totally re mctominay.
Thought he had confidence when playing deep ala Matic and showed he wasnt afraid to push forward when he could to support the attack.
