A handy draw for England.

Interesting draw, no real group of death this time round. Group F-Germany, Sweden, Mexico, South Korea is probably the toughest group on paper. Group D- Argentina, Iceland, Croatia, Nigeria will be tough to call, as will group C- France, Australia, Peru, Denmark. All the others should be pretty straight forward with Russia and Uruguay coming out of group A. Spain and Portugal coming out of group B. Brazil and Switzerland out of group E. Along with England and Belgium out of group G. Poland will get out of group H along with Japan, although Colombia and Senegal could surprise someone.

I'd be disappointed if England didn't atleast make the quatre final even if they lose to Belgium surely Panama, Tunisia and probs Poland in first knockout round is very achievable, if we were to handpick a route to the qf that wouldn't be to far off . Italy, Holland and another British or Irish side not being in are a big miss.

I’m sure you’ve seen enough Football and tournaments to know that ain’t how it happens, group stages never throw up the results you expect, there will be some surprises, that’s the beauty of football.

Heated balls as per for England, they shouldn’t be allowed to enter a tournament again if they fail to qualify from that group of jobbers. Not that I’m bitter at all being a Welshman 😂.
