Not Utd related but If Pogba wants to know how to play in a two man midfield then get the video of Dembele absolutely bossing Juventus tonight. A master class of strength, power and skill.

The pressing, movement, intensity, work rate, team work, desire and energy Spurs demonstrated tonight against a very good Juventus side is an almost perfect illustration of how modern football should be played.

A few lapses in concentration have just shadowed one of the best performances by an English team in the Champions League I've seen for a long time, it was that good.

To play like that against a team that has only lost one of their last 69 games at home was as brave as it was brilliant.

Jose take note please we want some of that as well!

Was about to post the same thing. Works brilliantly in a 2 man midfield and just glides past players with his control. Never gets bullied off the ball. His only weakness are his through ball and long range passes and ofcourse his injuries.
Spurs today were a delight to watch. When Juve scored the second goal the only thing in my mind was spurs are going to get thrashed today. They put up great performance today and it made me happy as a premier league fan.

Can’t believe Dembele only cost 5m. He was a joy to watch tonight and dominated a very good Juve midfield. Pogba has all the tools to be an even better player but lacks desire and work rate. Spurs’ pressing today was top draw and they made Juve look the away team. I wish we pressed like that but Jose doesn’t play that way. All the most entertaining sides press from the top as a team. Anyway, spurs were class and Dembele ran the show.

Juve were missing 3 very important players tonight Dembele is very good but he is not at the top table of midfielders Pogba could be if he allies desire and work rate to his undoubted talent. Pogba can see and pull off passes that Dembele can only dream about. That said well done Spurs tonight reminded me a bit of us against Juve in 1999.

Dembele was not playing in a two man midfield. He had dier sticking very close and covering. He had Erickson alongside him. And he had Dele in front of him. In addition, the fullbacks did their own share of coming inside and tackling and closing down.
The whole team worked their socks off. To blame our demise on Pogba (Playing out of position) is wrong and incorrect. The whole team has to work hard at retrieving the ball and making runs to make themselves available. But this is not the mourinho way.
Spurs were superb as were Erickson and Kane. But the team as a whole were brilliant.
