Welcome to the 2018 Predictions competition results. Firstly, the scoring system:

Champions 5 points,
Top 6 in right place 3 points, wrong place 1 point,
Bottom 3 in right place 3 points, wrong place 1 point,
FA Cup Winners 3 points, runners up 1 point,
League Cup Winners 3 points,
Champions League Winners 3 points, runners up 1 point,
Europa League Winners 3 points,
EPL Top Scorer, 1st Manager sacked, PFA Player and Young Player of the year, all 1 point each.

That means a maximum of 49 points available if you got everything correct. We had 226 entries including a couple of Eds (look away now Bond) .

It’s interesting scanning the predictions now. Everton were tipped by many to break into the top 6, pretty much everyone had Brighton and Huddersfield going down, and nobody at all had Salah as top scorer.

And so to the results. Before crowing our Champion, let's highlight a few regular posters.

Ed007 managed a mighty 8 points finishing 180th, 1 place behind Sydney, with ken just ahead in 152nd on 10 points. In 34th place, with 17 points was the now absent MAZE, and in 26th place, despite tipping the Scousers to finish 2nd was Stand with 18 points. In 16th place with 19 points were jred and Ed004, and 8th place with 20 points includes GDS2 and me! Don’t think I’ve ever made the top 100 before.

And now for the top 3.

3rd place with 23 points was AA80
2nd place with 25 points was TJK
And our winner, with 26 points, is our very own ray of sunshine…jaimej79.

I came 202nd and 203rd which obviously means I know what I'm talking about. I mean trillions love football and I'm in the top 250s so if anyone needs a bit of footie advice come and have a word and I'll put you straight 😂😂.

Dodgy, there were a couple of double entries which I should have deleted. However, the last entry is the one that counts and that’s the one that won. The previous one was the month before as you can see from the dates.
