Can't help but think; is our lack of transfer activity a board level 'ploy' to enforce Jose to utilise the youth that he has? With the lack of transfers brought in, this surely means an better opportunity for the likes of Tuanzebe, Pereira, TFM and possibly even Gomes and Chong?

Add onto that, Jose seems to have a knack of upsetting the most valuable players (assets, if you're looking at it from a board perspective), why would you fork out £70m on a player that Jose is likely to upset at some point, demand a move away and force us to sell on the cheap just to get this 'toxic' player out of the dressing room.

Stop with the conspiracy theories and concentrate on the football. In the last 48hrs we’ve apparently made bids for Maguire, Mina, Boateng, Zouma, Alderweireld and Godin. Absolute garbage!
Tuanzebe has gone to Villa, did you miss that transfer amongst all the nonsense that was being ‘reported’?
