Shows what happens when the shackles are removed and the players attack. Our defence is shocking. We cannot rely on it by sitting back and protecting it. We have some very good attacking players. Let them attack, let them create, let them express themselves. We should have the attitude of you score 3 we score 4. Best form of defence is attack. We must attack attack attack.

That second half performance was the grit and passion I expect from a Manchester United team. The crowd were fantastic after the first goal went in. I hope the players realise that if they fight for that badge on there chest then the crowd will give them all the support they need. Jose with some very brave substitutions second half. They paid off.

Martial was fantastic second half. I have never seen him that determined or with that much desire to make something happen. He is a phenomenal player when he’s on it. Pogba was instrumental. Again he is a sensational footballer when he’s in the mood. Not enough for my liking though. But mata is the player who should be playing more. He is a little wizard and so creative, linking our play.

But make no mistake, that first half was the worst I’ve seen in a long time. It’s unacceptable. That win papers over the cracks. If that was against city I shudder to think what would have happened. There are deep rooted issues in our club. I still think Jose has taken us as far as he can. Let’s see what happens.

It's a relief to finally get the win at last.

But it was only Newcastle.
Messy selectoin, messy first sub and a very good response on the 2nd half.

Props to POGBA, amazing game.
And. a lesson to be learned, at home we MUST ATTACK, WE DON'T NEED to play always with 2 hold DM.
