I know there are a few on here who think rashford isn't good enough. I just wanted to know their thoughts after watching him the last few games.

To me, he looks like a new player, like he has been told to go out there, run at defenders and express himself. It's refreshing to watch.

He’s been phenomenal these last 3 games. So dangerous and his pace is frightening he opposition defences. He still needs to work on his finishing but it’s amazing what a little bit of confidence can do to a player. Lukaku has a big task displacing him because he is the best no9 at our club currently.

Yeah he has looked very impressive (has have most that had been written off) .

Hopefully they all continue in this vain. As far as I'm concerned his performances didn't justify a team like Utd (like most of them), but the manager was obviously a major issue.

Looking forward to watching us play again.

Blimey Beast, grudging praise. Rashford is a real talent, he was being used in the wrong way in the wrong position, and he’s probably not alone. He’s still a kid but he has pace and trickery, I think we all know his finishing needs polishing.

Wow beast. Was going to say new year new you? Lol

He is a great talent AJH, can't believe some on here who really doubted him. He works his socks off too when things aren't going right.

His assist yesterday was good and his goal shows he has the instinct. His finishing needs work but he's got a good one to learn off.

{Ed004's Note - His finishing surprises me a lot. Hes a very good striker of the ball however he just isnt naturally as clinical and composed as he should be. Hopefully Ole will improve it}

Rashford was sensational yesterday.

I have not doubted Rashford’s talent but have questioned his decision making at times.

However we don’t know how much of that was down to him or down to the tactics under Mourinho.

He now apoears to be more relaxed and is playing with more freedom.

For me his best position is down the middle.

He's been our best player for the past two months. Maybe go as far as saying he's our player of the season so far.

I will put my hand up and say what i saw, Rashford has been brilliant these past 3 games. As a striker, i am still not convinced and it will take a few more games in the same form and against quality defenders to show he has got in him to be a quality striker.

Nonetheless, he has been magnificient in Ole's tenure. Hopefully he contiinues and fulfills Tony's high hopes.

Happy new year everyone!

Hes got everything but is a but rash infront of goal. Once he learns to strike it cleanly he will be one hell of a player.

Rashford has talent. i'd back him to have a much better career than martial for example. He is driven and has come on lots.
He will improve his decision making and finishing with experience.
We will for a lad of 21 he has vast experience at the highest level.
Martial has all the talent perhaps more in some areas than martial but u don't see the same drive and urgency in his play.
Both are players that can and will improve more under ole than under jose i think that's plain to see.

Where’s the guy who said he would be lucky to reach Defoe’s level?

Or just another welbeck. I'm sure it was a regular poster too. Moon I think.

Rashford has put his heart and soul into every game no matter who the manager was and unlike some, that tells me he was playing for the shirt, huge kudos. He has some really good close control ball skills and plenty of pace but it is his finishing that let's him down. I have always thought finishing is a bit instinctive, split second decision making therefore hard to teach but there are basics someone will train into him. He needs to gain that clinical nature as much as possible in front of goal if he wants to be our main centre forward but he deserves a place as one of the front three of our attack as things stand. If you watch Greenwood he seems to be a natural finisher and that could set him aside. We should not be selling Rashford, he has a talent but whether it is THE talent remains to be seen.
