As always a great read Ed1

Brazil have fallen quite a way from where they were 2 years ago. They easily qualified for the WC topping the group from SA and looked a genuine contender for the WC. What do you think has gone wrong in such a short time. They still have some top players yet aren't playing any good.

Actually non of the South American top national sides look convincing with Argentina being terrible for quite a while now. Why do you think it's been like this there ed1?

{Ed001's Note - the quality of players has decreased in the main, oversimplification but they just aren't as good as they were. Too much coaching and not enough developing on their own early on so they lose the individuality that made them special.

In Brazil's case the issue is Neymar. They put everything on Neymar, even filling the squad with his mates and without him those mates are being shown up as not being good enough. The better players from elsewhere, such as Firmino, are just not being accommodated by the tactics, which are still set up for Neymar and friends. Tite is simply out of his depth.}
