So a sum up of the site today. Two big debates.

Firstly is Maguire good enough? He certainly improves the first 11, but he isn't worth half of what he would cost and isn't a good enough long term option to move the club forward.

The second is should we stick or twist with DDG. This one is less clear cut. Clearly our best player, but can he maintain that level long term and would the club be making a for for their own back if they give in to his demands. Probably no right or wrong answer here, and only time will tell.

Shappy,

No players are ‘worth’ what you have to pay for them, but that’s what the market is these days unfortunately, teams like Leicester and palace don’t need to sell so the prices go up. The moaning that has been done about the club not spending I’m not sure we can moan if they are willing to pay over the odds to get the player the manager wants.

Maguire is better than what we have. Better than Rojo Bailly Jones and Smalling. Although feel we should walk away from maguire and try for Diop, just think he wold be a better fit for the defence.

Utd shipped out the likes of Evans And M. Keane only to buy their peer in Maguire for stupid money? He is just a glorified Tarkowski, and may end up being for us what Alfie Mawson was to Fulham.
