I think you can see how Bruno Ferndandes at 10 will bring another level to the team.
Axel looking composed, i'd forget ol' slab head and give Axel a shot this season.

Particularly Gomes, who can push on this season especially with Europa League and should be replacing Lingard in 2-3 seasons, Lionel Greenwood, going to be better than Mbappe, Andreas offering something similar but different to Pogba.

Lingard disappointing, Rashford quieter, James busy but wasteful
Axel and Lindelof decent, latter doing lots of talking
Wan Bissaka SUPER HUMAN nothing gets past him (and rarely wastes a pass)

We can't go into the season with centre halfs we have now.
Its preseason we are going to be playing much better teams
I agree the central defenders have been decent but Maguire if we get the guy will add something different than what we have currently.
It's gone pretty stale about bruno I hope we ain't look at something else he would be a good player to have playing the way we have been.

On Centre Backs⤵ï¸
Don't underestimate how much having a good Right Back will improve those around them.
Weaknesses at full back often means CBs are out of position as they cover space and CDM ends up much deeper dragging the whole team deeper and out of position make the counter attacks weaker too. Think about the covering work the wingers need to put in, when we want them up the pitch.

Greenwood is the next big star coming from the academy. Bissaka well what can i say? a beast. now we need a very attacking minded right winger to play in front of him and our dimension of play will change a lot.
