So that is all the business done for now. They said at the start they would looking for young, hungery, quick, homegrown players and despite the clamour for foreign signings, with Maguire, Wan bissaka and James, that's what they deluvered. There was also a deliberate emphasis placed on bringing players through and pre season they have tried that with no obvious loans to other clubs of the ones who could get a chance apart from Dean Henderson.
So The first few games should show if the youth will really get a chance.

With this in mind here is my preferred
First 11
De Gea,
AWB, Vic, Harry, Shaw
MC Tominay Pogba, Gomes/ Sanchez
M Rashford, Martial, Greenwood

Bench
Romero, Young, Dalot, Tuanzebe, Fred, Chong, lindgard, James. Mata.

Yes it's brave and some may say inexperienced but if this is the philosophy this should be how it goes if not from the start, very early in.
Just my tuppence worth.
Don't think it will happen but here's hoping.

Yet man this is the most sensible post I’ve ever read on here. Ed’s can we get him banned? 😂😂😂

In all seriousness, if this is the case and we are going for young hungry British players and some additional quality when the chance arises, then let’s back it.

I would say one thing on this though. Does the manager, the board, the owners think this squad is good enough to win the league? My guess is not, which says how far the standards have slipped all across the club and went we are now willing to accept.

Ah well - it’s Utd and we love them.

I'll be honest, that midfield would get murdered by other top 7 or top 8 midfields. Pogba doesn't work hard enough and Gomes/ Sanchez aren't central mids.
