Ogs pogba ferdinand and carrick have all been speaking about the impact maguire has had in a week. Players look up to him and he is a seen as a leader writhing the group already. All very complimentary about his leadership qualities and skills.
I am very confident he will grow in to his role at United and be our captain for many seasons to come.

Yes Ken. He looked very assured on the back.
Both Lindelof and Maguire doesn't panic and are extremely confident on the ball.
Because of this, the midfielders don't need to come deep to collect the ball.

I got to say Maguire impressed me yesterday but that was a poor Chelsea. There are tougher tests ahead but this looked promising.

Another huge positive out of yesterday's game which appears to have gone totally unnoticed.

Tuanzebe named on the bench ahead of Smalling, Jones and Rojo is very encouraging.

All of them are fit, yet Tuanzebe was Ole's choice. A little thing, a player who didn't even get on the pitch. Yet how pleasing to see the club moving on from our terrible recent defensive past.

Ken, I mentioned this a few weeks back when people were saying we should go for Dias from Benfica or Milenkovic from Fiorentina for half the price.
With Maguire, we were buying someone who was going to fit straight in. You could see it with the England set up last summer, he came across as a leader. One of the lads who was involved in everything during the World Cup. Every man and his dog know that £80 million is a silly amount of money but I reckon the fee will be forgotten about by the end of the season and Maguire will be United captain.
