So Luke Shaw is ruled out for a month, who should play and who do you think will play?

Should be Brandon Williams but I bet Ashley Young gets the run.

Dalot should be our primary backup for both fb positions.

The reality is that Young will play regardless of his form and ability.

Dalot for me. Probably Young, tho. To be fair, he looked our most creative player when he came on last game 😁.

I agree on Dalot but unless I am mistaken he is also injured, hence the question.

Dalot is injured. Brandon Williams has looked good for the u23s. I'll go with him.

Dalot is injured, but he would have been top of my list.

However, I disagree with the Ashley Young bashing. I actually feel he is better at left back than he is at right back. I suppose spending most of your career in the left despite being right footed just makes the transition easier for him.

I think he will do well while covering for Shaw. He didn't make any mistakes against Palace when he came on and was a constant outlet on the left.

If we don't have Dalot and don't want Young Is the answer in the short term to have 3 at the back. I think OGS played this in some games last year and possibly would suit our current players.

Dalot was my first choice backup option too. Unfortunately he is injured.
Young is the obvious 4th choice.

More than LB, I worry about De Gea. Seriously, something isn't right with his frame of mind.
His errors are proving very costly. He needs to up his game soon as he is one of the few old heads in the team.

{Ed0666's Note - I’d want a bit more from a keeper if I was paying him a third of a million pound a week TrueDevil.

I say we should've moved him on in the summer. He doesn't look right.

Absolutely Ed.
Sadly we are short on quality players and therefore have to pay premium wages to keep hold of them.

{Ed0666's Note - I’m not sure you’re short on quality after all Leicester won the league with only one great player what you’re short of is structure, common sense, a clear blueprint and stellar coaches.
