The Guardian is saying, he will sign soon but we ve been hearing same story for some time now.

Liverpool fan here in peace. I've obviously not seen as much of De Gea recently as you guys, and all I really see is the high profile bloopers he's been making.

Would you really be happy if he signed a new long term contract putting him on the same wages as Paul Pogba? £290k per week. I know it's not your money but surely with his form (admittedly, in the limited coverage I've seen), would you be happy with that?

Firstly, I don't think that anyone would want to disrupt their defence by changing their first choice goalkeeper in the middle of the season.

Secondly, and in addition to the first point, why would anyone do that when they can talk to him in January in regards to moving to them on a free transfer.

Get rid. I've been saying this for two years. No command of his area, terrible distribution, never comes for crosses, and his communication with the defence is nonexistent.

Command of the area is an issue with DDG, the defenders don’t know what is happening behind them. Schmeichel was utterly commanding and when I played you wanted a commanding keeper. I would have sold him if he didn’t sign a new contract last January. Now we are in the last year and again are in same position as Herrera. Why is no one questioning Woodward for losing one multi million pound asset of the business and about to lose another even more valuable one?
I would give Henderson a chance.

Red Man the fans have mentioned it but the club ignores us mostly until it needs an excuse to pull the plug on spending to they can blame toxic fans. Journos don't mention it as its all a laugh to them, given their club loyalties and its another excuse to kick the club and do more click bait articles. The owners won't mention it because they dint have a clue. They're American. There are no transfers in American sports. Just trades and drafts. Woodward probably sells it to them as more cost cutting. Personally I think he's trying to get the wage bill down. But then why renew the likes of rojo. What's changed in two years.

angelred. If you don't sign a DdG replacement (which I actually think you will), then surely Sergio Romero deserves a spell as first choice.

He signed for you as Argentina's number one and has been loyal for all the years since he's been there and never kicked up a fuss. I think it would be a real kick in the knackers to him to let a young keeper leapfrog him in the race for the gloves.

He's had nearly 100 caps for Argentina but now can't even get on the bench for the them due to lack of club first team football.

Cant believe some fans would even come out with things non logical like yh sell are 1 and only world class player yh he's not had say a good 6 to 12 months but the guy for me personal opinion has kept us up there without him over past 5 years were mid table at best we need to look at other players that are sorry not good enough lingard wouldn't get anywhere near the top teams rashford has got potential within his pace that's it the more a watch him more a no he's a selfish player not a team players a mean shoots from 40 yards and stuff and goes nowhere think he should be dropped and Greenwood promoted ahead of him honestly think he's a better player already proper forward that lad p. s martal is main striker for me he's most clinical player in the team he should be pen taker.
