We were second best for long periods in that game but i thought we out fought Leicester and deserved our win.
The back 5 and mctom did their jobs well and they deserved their Clean sheet.
Matic and mata had little impact on the game.
Periera put himself about and worked hard.
Even though they didn't control the game they all worked really hard and didn't go missing and leaving gaps for Leicester to exploit.

James and rash tried to make things happen but to little effect.
We never controlled the game at all but got through it.
Lots of calls for greenwood and gomes but ole found a winning combination today so he got it right. Credit where it's due.

We looked better once matic an Mata, the 2 slowest players went off. I don't see what Pereira offers. Not good enough and wouldn't get in the starting 11 for at least 15 of the other teams in the league.

If it wasn’t for us scoring more goals that the opposition we wound have lost that game. Been due a game where we fought and got the win, probably deserved a few more points this season and not for missed penalties would have got them. Great result against an unbeaten Leicester.

Back 5 were solid.
Mctominay was full of energy and won numerous battles in midfield.

But we lack imagination going forward.
I still worry where the goals are going to come from.

Before the game there was talk of Leicester having better players, we’re all doomed, it’s a must win game. We won yet people still aren’t happy. We played well against Wolves and only drew, same against Southampton. Today we played well for half an hour and won. Swings and roundabouts. We usually lose or at best draw after an international break yet despite the injuries we won.

It’s a mad season so far, City have lost to Norwich, Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal look unconvincing, Liverpool are currently the only standout team. Perhaps we should stop analysing every moment of every game and see where we are after 10 games. Just an idea.

So far we are 2 points worse off than city and wouldn’t say our fixtures have been any easier. Not as bad a start as some would have you believe.

Just hilarious the posts on here saying we are doomed and the season is going to be a struggle when we are 2 points off the team most people thought would win the league. We aren’t as good as city and won’t finish close to them, but as it stands we are so maybe just maybe we aren’t as screwed as people think. Fun season ahead I think.
