It has come to something when a few major sporting media outlets have us down as relegation contenders.

Based on our last 16 or so results, we would be in the bottom three, so maybe such talk isn't that far-fetched. But the fact we are being talked about in such terms leaves a very unpleasant feeling.

I hope Martyn Pert, has an impact. At least getting the side fitter and more robust.

Tuor as I've been saying, there is a distinct possibility of us going down unless the manager is changed, striker arrives in January, new midfielders arrive in January, and Woodward finally recruits a dof to actually move the club into the 21st century.

I am worried, the club seem to think the answer is sticking by the manager, who should never have been appointed, now they have, as I predicted, got themselves stuck in an emotional sentimental hole over Ole. There is a chance we will be relegated if Ole remains manager. What sort of players will a. Come in January, b. Want to play for a club hurtling downwards, c. Play for Solskjaer?

I can only think they don’t want to expose a new manager to the Liverpool game as his first.

Agree on the Liverpool Point redman. No point a new guy being thrown into that particular lions den on his first day in the office.

Let Ole handle that one, and new guy steps in straight after. I'm actually terrified of that game, I could see them hitting 4+ goals with ease and our confidence hurtling towards rock bottom.

Players usually step up during these special matches.
There is pride involved in it as well.

I posted the other day exactly that when answering someone who was going to their first Utd Liverpool game.
