Bruno not bad, looks positive, likes to have a go. Movement looks good but lost the ball a lot.

Lingard, James and Pereirshould never be in 18. Bottom half players.

Martial did well first half with back to goal drew a lot of fouls then went rubbish second half.

Shaw had a good game for me as did Maguire.

Awb awful going forward and isn't a good defender as people make out. he's out of position a lot loses the ball a lot and its his pace and last ditch tackles that's got us out of the s**t but majority his own fault and cost us a few goals this season.

We missed matic today i think .
Fred was like a duracell bunny again and been best player this season.

Chelsea drop points again tjen so do we its so frustrating.

We need another 4 top players in summer at least.

Bruno did lose the ball a few times which in my opinion was to his credit as he didn't just want to play the safe pass like so many in our side do. Having a lack of movement in front of him won't help but you can see his intention is to pass forward.

It'll be interesting to see if Bruno's riskier style of play is adopted by our side or if like many others over previous years, he adopts ours and any risk is taken out of his game.

Hopefully the winter break will do the players some good as just now Lingard and Pereira seem to be competing to see who is worse, Fred must be knackered, teams have figured out how to defend Dan James and Martial is a CF who seems terrified to enter the 18 yard box.

As for positives yesterday, I think Shaw did pretty well against Adama Traore, Fred and Maguire played well again, AWB is almost unbeatable one on one (though I take the points noted by Wilbot that his positioning isn't always great, though I'd say it'll get better as he is still adapting to being asked to attack as much as he is) .

Even if we buy well, we will likely be in a similar fight for 4th next season unfortunately. Matic, Mata, Jones and Pogba will all likely leave. Chong and Gomes, who many have high hopes for, may also be going. We need at least a CB, DM/ CM, RW and CF for the first 11 then add the spaces left in the squad by those above.

Ah I see it’s the turn of AWB this week to be time he’s rubbish.

{Ed047's Note - to be fair Eric I loved him at Palace but he’s not the same player for you and I’ll add, yet, to that.

Its simple. Maguire looked better at Leicester.
Awb looked better at palace
James is going backwards.
Ole is not getting the most out of these guys.

The whole club has been consumed by lack of ambition and an acceptance of mediocrity.

When I hear people trying to argue that Lindelof, Lingard, Jones, Pereira etc ( there are more! ) are good enough to play for United it tells me all I need to know. We are a top half team, no more.

We should not be surprised to draw or lose more than we win because quite frankly, we are not going enough to expect anything else.

But it's fine, because we keep being told how hard we work in training, how well we played in games and how unlucky we have been with injuries, or referees or VAR or the opposition's tactics.

Just surprised that we haven't blamed Brexit yet.
