On paper we have the easiest run in. Third place is in our own hands. The players finally look like they are enjoying themselves and appreciating each other's efforts. Martial was indeed endowed with the muscles that facilitate smiling. Shaw looks like the player we thought we'd signed.

Is this the United that takes its chances or the one that bottles it? Third place would solidify Ole's credentials, the skeptics silenced for the time being. That and a Europa League title would turn this season that looked lost before the arrival of Bruno, into a highly satisfying experience and set the scene for a run at the title next year.

I don't think this team will bottle it shaw. Confidence and momentum is everything. Chelsea and lampard look rattled. Although they should get a nice bounce back midweek against Norwich.
Leicester have steadied a little and also still have it in their own hands but are not playing like they were a few months back.
A win against southamton will not be easy they are also in decent form. But right now i think we are in such good form scoring and creating lots of chances. Ole clearly has his preferred 11 with no position up for reasonable debate.
Where it gets tricky is tweaking it to cover rests or injury ole is doing a really good job right now. Each and every player is bang at it. Yes there are poor mistakes by a few individuals but when your attacking and scoring goals they get over looked.
I would have had ole out at xmas. He has done great to turn it around i'm delighted door him, he needs to and i 100% believe he and they will finish the job. Top 4 and maybe even a cup win would be a fantastic season and would constitute massive improvement on last season and even from xmas.
I wouldn't have given him the chance but he got it and he turned it around to now have it in his own hands. i'd be gutted if ole and the players don't take the chance their hard work and great play has given them. I'm confident because we are not stumbling over the line we are accelerating coming around the final bend looking to steam roller over anybody in the way.
3 huge games in 6 days next week. 3 wins and we'll be sitting 3rd with 2 games to go and be in a cup final. I wouldn't have thought that possible in November.

3 out of 4 of Leicester's final games look tough matches. Sheffield United, Spurs and ourselves are not games you want to play needing a result.

While Chelsea have both Liverpool and Wolves yet to play.

On paper our run in looks the easiest with games against Southampton, Palace, West Ham and Leicester. Yet I'm almost certain we will drop points somewhere before we play Leicester on the final day.

Southampton have a manager who can spring surprises.

Palace will dig deep and be dogged, while Zaha can always cause problems.

West Ham have beaten Chelsea and smashed Norwich. If Antonio is fit when they play us they have a chance to cause an upset.

So we could easily drop points in any one of those games. While the FA cup game against Chelsea had the ability to throw us off and break our momentum, do we go all out to win against Chelsea or do we rest players. Depending on the outcome against Chelsea how does that effect our mentality/ mood heading into the West Ham game?

I am confident, but I think there is still drama left in this season yet.

Really don't see us slipping up with our current form. We now have 2 creative players in Pogba and Fernandes and their partnership seems to be blossoming - it can only get better, I hope. They certainly are capable of creating more chances for our forwards and with Greenwood, Fernandes and Martial scoring consistently and Rashford desperate to recollect his scoring form, things are looking up.

We now have 5 players who are capable of shooting and scoring from outside the box which we have lacked for a long time. This means teams can no longer sit back and let us have a go, they need to work extra hard to close us down and at the same time be wary of our creative players and forwards making the runs in behind. We also are dangerous on counter-attacks and sets us up nicely against most teams.

We win the next game and we apply more pressure on Chelsea and Leicester and have a great chance to finish 3rd.

A fascinating few games ahead and there is an opportunity to get top four, possibly third. Tomorrow Southampton, who should be more of a challenge than the recent ones. We certainly can’t afford the slow sloppy start that we had at Villa until the drinks break. I sense they will press in certain areas, try to turn the ball over, likely Pogba will be targeted. Don’t know why but I get a feeling of a draw tomorrow, when we really must win our games now.

This can go in so many ways, it’s in our hands but now we have to go in for the kill, be bold. Tight games under pressure, draws are too risky and we have to get our set up right, make the right changes, it’s a challenge we will see if they rise to. As Ken says win the next three this coming week will put us in a good position.
