Don't let the truth distract you from the agenda. Ole is terrible, this team is terrible and we are going no where but down. Hell relegation could be on the cards next year. lol.

Bolger they are impressive stats. i'm sure without too much thought anyone could come up with a list of stats that show a different and negative picture.
But the only stat that matters for me is we finished 3rd and by end of Aug hopefully will have won a cup.
Its all about next season. Not only for us but every team. We all start at zero points.
Next year we need to do better. i'm sure we will. 66 points is a poor total we need to be targeting an extra 20 points and hope Liverpool drop off their impeccable high standards.

He is not good enough no matter how you paint it shappy, i go with ed001 and ed002 opinion about him.

Thats hust it thi rover '"opinions" and everyone has one but the FactS are he hasn't done that bad of a job as he for someone who has no clue 🤭.

Rover he may not be, but ask yourself this is the team better off now or when Ole took over?

There is a middle ground where you can appreciate the job Ole has done, the positives he has created, while admitting that he probably isn't the man to bring back long term success.

Personally considering that in the EPL currently arguably the two best managers in the game atm are managing be our nearest rivals, they have been given time and money to build formidable teams and have broke records over the past few years. With them and their teams at their peak the absolute best position we could have possibly finished this season with this squad in this league was 3rd.

Ole did that. Spurs had Pochettino as manager at the start of the season. With Jose coming in halfway through.

Arsenal had Emery in charge for most of the season. A man who has won domestic and European titles.

Chelsea have a good squad, with a promising manager and a well structured backroom team.

Ole beat them, and the stats back up that it's not all doom and gloom.

I agree shappy its far from doom and gloom. Since bruno came in there are a lot of positives and the results have been very good.
Its easy to pick out negatives but there are positives too.
Plus 20 points next season is not an unreasonable expectation if you look at our points haul since jan.
3 good signings would help we need a deeper squad a bit of luck with injuries and it should be our target.
I think our competition city Chelsea arsenal and spurs will all be better next season i think Liverpool will not do quite as well as a result but they go on as strong favourites.
More progression and to compete in the big trophies to a much greater extent.

Yet Ole lost to Chelsea in the most important game, the FA cup semi.

There are positive points, but even yourself admit you don’t think Ole can take us to the level needed. Or has your position changed now?

He needs to win the Europa to show he can be a winner as a minimum, otherwise we go into another season where there will be that question mark. People rightly point out Poch won nothing yet cuddle up to Ole, works both ways.

You say the FA cup semi final was the most important game against Chelsea but had we lost either of the league games against them we would have finished 5th.

Ultimately top four is more important than getting to the FA cup final.

The new Arsenal.

Red man the new Arsenal are winning the FA cup and finishing 6th every year. They can't keep their best player and they can't attract top players because no one outside of a few British people of a certain age rate the FA cup more than playing in the UCL.

You want players of Sancho's quality to improve the team? Then we need UCL football more than a trip to Wembley.

Redman would you be happy if we won the FA and finished 8th?

"He needs to win the Europa to show he can be a winner as a minimum".

Yet you have stated you would like Poch as our manager, who has won precisely nothing with a squad considered far superior to ours over the last few years.

Bit inconsistent.

We should be able to finish top four from where we were. I don’t agree with the way we surrendered the Semi final.

Incorrect, get your facts right, I stated I wanted Simeone next on a number of occasions.

My apologies, you're right. Simeone is your only choice. Jose-light. But you have spoken of Poch in comparison to Ole in much more favourable terms on here. One of the more recent comments being a loaded question re. Poch taking over at Newcastle. Why do you think he's a better manager, considering he's won diddly squat?
