Same journalist who reported Herrera deal early today now reporting deal now off, too much red tape and not enough time, if Fellaini is only addition then just wake me up in May.

Totally depressing, would rather do without the mop if truth be told.

Maybe I'm just being optimistic here, but maybe the reason we've been pretty quiet so far in the transfer market is the situation with Real and Bale?, maybe once this is finalized our targets(maybe Ouzil Modric, Di Maria etc), may become avialable, I know some of these players have said they're staying, but surely Madrid have to recoup some of their outlay?, it's prob a very coy ploy by Daniel Levy to leave until last min and therefore making it difficult for other rivals to get their targets, once the Bale deal is sorted I think we could see a bit of movement, or at least I hope so, as its been a pretty disappointing window from us at present. We can hope if nothing else!

1.) Pal of mine just came past Carrington, press & TV cameras mobbing the place. Is it all about to happen!

2.) Annie give it up mate, no on is in the mood especially now with 48 hours left.

Yeah it has been so top secret that all the press have been warned they would be sent to Guantanamo if they leaked any news of this massive announcement. Scholes is coming out of retirement:)

3.) Im still with you annie, at least you've had the courage to stand by your prediction, even if it doesn't happen I still believe that you believed it would. There are so many posts on this site where people have made predictions, and the posters have never followed up with anything else. Regardless of what happens, your posts have been a little ray of light in a rather gloomy transfer window.

4.) Getting a little bored with your rumours now Annie. There have been about twenty over the past month - none of which have come to fruition.

5.) I don't have a problem with anyone posting stuff that has some merit but what do you get by posting pure fiction.

The site is suppose to be good banter and exchange of views and info that is maybe not out there.

We have 48 hours left in this window and I would prefer to have stuff posted that has some relevance and credibility as we are all quite frustrated by what is going on and personally not in the mood for bs.

I guess when he laces it up for RM tomm that will be the end of the silly stuff unless people want to still believe that he is going to play against Bilbao and then catch the redeye to manchester to sign and do his medical:)

6.) Carrington is down a long dead end road well off the main road, which I know well

So Annie given where it is, how was your friend just "coming past" Carrington?

7.) Redseven, I`ve only ever made one prediction, 3 players in, one of which will be considered marquee. I will stick by that & if I am wrong I won't hide away, I `ll be on here Tuesday morning come what may. My source has always been spot on before and I see no reason to doubt him just yet.

8.) Red Man, I will have take your word for it as I have never been to Carrington, but I do believe my pal. Why would he lie? He`s a scaffolder, if there is any building work going on around there? TV vans &( them wooden thingies with the cameras on top lol ) tripods he said, but you believe what ya want mate I really don`t give a f***

SSN reporting an agreed fee of £63.9m for Di Maria, good player , but my that's a lot of money, only hope this doesn't effect our move for a an accomplished midfielder.

Time will tell m8, hope you're right, need that bit of experience in there, also have to factor in that our current CB's are not exactly ever-presents, all 3 seem unlucky with injuries, so while I don't share your optimism I'll be more than happy if things develop on that front, fingers crossed!

Hate to say it Syd!, but I think this is our top centre back!, I really can't see Hummels leaving and apparently Chelsea are upping their interest in Benatia, hope this isn't another desperation buy!

Decent player, but prefers where Rooney and Kagawa play, so something has to give, unless we play him out wide, would suggest one of them could be on way out, maybe giving them 1st option on Rooney if we do sell as a sweetener?, but if the price is 37 million, well, just don't think he's worth that sort of money, then again, we spent 27 on Fellaini!, think jury could be out on this one

Danny, like the idea of Kronos in middle of the parK!lol, however, feel we may still be short at CB, add to that the fact that Kronos has had his injury problems and I still think we should be looking at an audacious bid for Apollo to help Evans out and maybe a move for Poseidon to help with the wave of attacks from out wide, would def be looking at top 4 finish with that lot!(assuming we get Vidal also!lol)

The issue I have Paddy is the fact if it is only a "couple of million", then we've learnt nothing from last seasons debacle.

I, like a few people on here, originally thought we had no chance of Vidal, but my opinion has changed over past few wks, thought there may be a genuine chance of securing a real "world class" player, but truth is we don't know what to believe. I would hope that if the clubs are only a few million apart that we bite the bullet and secure the deal. We have to remember we have no CL this season so like it or not it will have an impact with certain players. Here's hoping we manage to secure a genuine quality player which we desperately need in middle of park

Robson hands down, as good as Keane was, Robson had it all, lucky enough to see both in their prime
