Is there any chance martial and de gea could stay ed002 or are they definitely going to leave? the club really is a complete mess at the minute. supposedly looking to gring a cb and forward in this january do you know if this is true? thanks as akways ed002.
{Ed002's Note - Certainly, if MU invoke the one year extensions or if the agree new contracts. Putting aside the timing, there is interest in bringing in players - a centre back is top of the list without doubt. Others will have to be balanced with those leaving. So if Pogba and Sanchez were to leave then a CM and F would be of interest.}

I know it's highly unlikely and I do like martial to stay at United, but I would offer PSG £80-£100 million + martial. See what there say too it. Other wise I stick with what we got. What do you guys think?

Just a quick question on pogba, if and that's a big if united manage to move him on does that mean they might push for milinkovic-savic? thanks.

Although it is fair to say that one club has retained the services of Jorge Mendes to try to broker a deal with Lazio - but right now they are a long way apart in valuation. Another side made a significant offer including a player who is seen as a very good replacement for him, and that was turned down. So we will see what happens.}

{Ed002's Note - There are further discussions about Martial pending and at the right price he will leave - obtaining that price might be a problem. That would not be an additional winger being required. Manchester United may look again at Lorenzo Pellegriniwho has been on the list since January but he is well down the list of options available and players of of interest. Even though Roma are rebuilding their midfield this summer, right now Lorenzo Pellegrini stays even though three midfield players have already been added. That could change with their interest in another coming to fruition.}

Pogba has been offered to a couple of clubs and if united could move him on tge the likes of SMS and / or vertti could well be persued. The sides that had shown interest in pogba previously do not see value in him now. As per ed 002.
Price wanted off united for sms is prohibitive.
If jose is going to play 3 in midfield his current options for 3 places including fred are. Matic pogba fred herrera (entering his last 12 months) fellaini (entering his last week) and mctominay.
So if either of herrera or fellaini go we do need another midfield player. I see him going for an experienced head. As back up to his preferred 3. At a relatively cheap price. Kheidra is a possibility or someone of that ilk.

I would love us to sign a yound dutch player called timothy fosu mensah if we are looking for a more defensive minded midfielder who can cover a lot of ground and is an excellent tackler.
On the other hand if we are looking for a more creative midfielder to play through the lines, there is this young brazilian midfielder called andreas pereira that could do a job.

Not a lot to be honest ken but we are not averse to moving players to different positions, just look at our first choice full backs.
The good thing about the world cup is that a lot of youngsters will be going on tour, they have a chance to prove themselves to mourinho.

Agree dsg i have seen him play there for the 2nd team when he first came in the matic role. I've always hoped he might make a good 6. But hasn't played there for years. Not good enough technically i suspect.
