Everton 4 Wolfsburg 1. How was Emmerdale?

Daveyboyboy Blue

1.) The fact that you have to come here and mention it says it all actually.

2.) 19 Sep 2014 07:36:52
Congratulations. I'm pretty sure that when Lukaku, Barkley inevitably move on to better things - so long as the money is re-invested wisely you will have a good chance of maintaining your Europa League status. The Everton way! I'm glad you seem happy with your lot.

3.) 19 Sep 2014 07:59:26
I actually want everton to do well in Europe, they play good football and I like Martinez as a manager, even if some of the fans are numptys

4.) You mean the beloved British institution that has been a ratings winner for over 40 years, winning more than 73 awards as it continually reinvents itself to achieve even more success?

Great episode. Better than the Everton match.

5.) 19 Sep 2014 13:27:14
Great result for Everton, Its nice to see them back in Europe and I hope they go on to win it, its doubtful but I have always had a soft spot for the blue half. Your league form will suffer due to the nature of this competition and the relatively tight squad in place there so enjoy it for the season you will struggle to qualify for even this competition next year

6.) 19 Sep 2014 15:18:09
What's funny Davey is your post very similar regarding the soaps you mentioned the other day was quickly removed by one of the ed's. I'm guessing because of banter value. Yet you re-post it again with a little re-wording. Are you someone who laughs at your own jokes louder than anyone else? You've had a few days to think about it and come up with the same. Love the way you probably spend most of your time working out your posts for our page but at least you don't have to be lonely here Davey and we appreciate your effort because it isn't your wit. Good luck to Everton I hope they do well in Europe. At least they are setting their sites high. A 50,000 stadium might not be a distant dream. Add to that the prospect of a few more UEFA cup ties and some of us might raise a few eye brows.

7.) Davey always gives me the impression of a Liverpool supporter because he spends more time on Uniteds page than Evertons you make a show of yourself because any time I look on the Everton page everybody but you is fairly intellegent about soccer and don't really mind United

Just a thought before you guys start getting carried away following your win against the might of QPR on Sunday. How the hell are you going to be able to accommodate Fellaini into your midfield once he's fit again? Will he replace Mata, Rooney or Herrera in midfield? After all you don't spend the best part of £28m and expect him to sitting on the bench? Surely not!

Daveyboyboy Blue

1.) We're not a small club like Everton 28 m down the drain and spend 150+m in the summer. So big hair can play under21s or yous.

2.) 16 Sep 2014 11:47:29
Great problem to have isn't it mate?

3.) Moyes spent 28 mill on him not LVG. Does he deserve automatic selection in your eyes Daveyboy?

4.) 16 Sep 2014 11:55:40
Hahaha is that honestly the best u have got!!! Bless ya

5.) I think you should worry about your own loan stars who may not ever get ti wear that blue shirt.

For Fellaini, I am sure he will play better than the last year under LVG, we will see him causing havoc again.

6.) Just realized you are not one of Roman's, still if you are so much worried about the wig, will you care for resign him for same price ;)

7.) The same Fellaini who was Everton's best player for what? Four years? Who was also coincidentally bought by Everton's best manager of the modern era who also took the chance anyone would by leaving to join United. It hasn't worked out for him at United, these things happen. It doesn't make him a bad player. Most of us knew he would never be a success as a Manchester United player, it's difficult coming from a small club where fifth place is deemed a success to the biggest club in the world.

8.) You're so ungrateful these days blueboy. We take your 'mediocre' manager off your hands, then give your club £27.5M and then to top it off, 2 weeks ago you didn't have the decency to take our Tom off our books !

9.) Daveyboy, Fellaini is not Blind. He knows where he stands and at the moment, even a Blind can play better than him.

Hope you guys love charity - 28m, thanks to one Mr. Moyes.

Feel for Fellaini however, has not worked out for him - right place, wrong time. Hope he can revive his career.

10.) Oh dear I appear to have touched a raw nerve once again. Put it this way, you were welcome to both Moyes and Fellaini last year. We now have a much more progressive manager in Martinez, £28m in the bank, home and away wins last season against yous and European football to look forward to this season. So Emmerdale and Coronation Street it is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to watch and the M6/M1/M40 will be empty between Manchester and London

11.) Lads lads don't bite daveybaby pops over to his big bros site now and again with his wooden spoon he's a turnip, oh I'm just getting ready for tonight's footy wish us look ;)

12.) 16 Sep 2014 15:11:27
Davey,

When everybody rips you apart when you right a post you cannot come back on and say you 'touched a raw nerve'. People responded but mainly in pity to laugh at how ludicrous your post was, do you think you would anyone up? It will take a lot more than that this week!

13.) 28m in the bank in which you spent on a player who's using you as a stepping stone, maybe if you squeeze into the champions league (doubtful) in the next few years he might score against you and not celebrate.

14.) 16 Sep 2014 16:46:29
Fellaini and Moyes were both a mistake. Just because he cost £28m in a panic buy does not mean he has to play this season. I don't know whether you're just trying to wind people up or if you're just a little bit lacking in the head.

15.) 16 Sep 2014 16:59:28
Dave u have just wasted that money on lukaku, ent mistake our jibes back as u touching anything mate , we just find it funny how 1 season in the last 30 u have had something to crow about(well if finishing above utd is that lol) and now after being battered by Chelsea & stumbling to a lucky draw against arsenal u still somehow feel u are relevant to us.

Then again I suppose it's easy to play the village idiot when at the end of the season ure excuse will be ready made in the form of money, club size etc lol bless ya cheered me up your post did.

16.) Daveyboyboy. I asked 'Jeeves' over 2 hours ago, when did Everton last win the Champions League/European Cup. I'm still waiting. LOL

17.) Bless the little Toffie.

You are welcome to the Europa cup. Enjoy it while you can.

18.) Many thanks for your thoughtful and incisive comments gentlemen. It's nice to know in this age of enlightened banter that the supporters of Manchester United are still prepared to 'bite' when enticed to do so under a little provocation!

19.) I am glad we have filled the void in your life.

20.) And it's also nice to see that your obsession with all things Man Utd is still going strong albeit an unhealthy obsession. Pssst, Any chance you can answer what 'Jeeves' has failed to?

21.) 16 Sep 2014 20:29:01
Lol u won't kill our buzz atm Davey mate, u can try but u won't!

I'm glad we gave u some entertainment because let's face it u ain't getting it from Everton atm lol have u got that feeling of same old same old?

I had ure moment and its good to see u getting back to where u belong midtable 😊

22.) Well Daveyboy blue you conceded what ten goals already spent that magic 28 million on Lukaku and have no realisitc hope of getting in the Champions League with City Liverpool Us Tottenham Chelsea and Arsenal six teams for four positions

23.) 16 Sep 2014 22:27:31
Everton, Manchester United FC's feeder club.

Just a question for one of your fans (Ken) who suggested last week that Moyes should come back to Everton in the summer with a straight swap deal involving Seamus Coleman in return for Cleverley and Welbeck.
Now come on lads be serious for a moment. Seamus, with 6 goals this season, is arguably the best RB in Europe and would command a 25/30 million. Cleverley is currently a joke (especially with the strength of feeling at his England inclusion this week)! Welbeck is certainly not good enough for your struggling side so why would Everton even consider such a proposal.
The days when EFC were forced to sell are not a consideration this season and would Seamus seriously want to make the move to play for a suspect manager when he's currently playing for a more progressive manager in Martinez.
Your comments lads will be much appreciated.

Daveyboyboy Blue

1.) Seamus Coleman best RB is Europe? HAHA

2.) So who would you put above him?

3.) Alves, Piszczek, Lahm, Ivanovic, Zabaleta etc.

4.) Chris Smalling ;)

5.) And how many goals have they scored this season? I reckon Coleman's scored more than all of them put together.

6.) The best right back isn't the one who scores the most goals.

7.) Top five Lahm Zabaleta Coleman Piszczek Ivanovic in any order you want Lamh is in my opinion the best fullback in the world

So I see the writing's on the wall for Moyes once again and the supporters are revolting. I hope the likes of Sydney and God Created United are sulking this morning as the word is that SAF is already on the case to tap up his latest "chosen one". Watch out Swansea as it could be Laudrup, Pardew from Newcastle or Hughes from Stoke? One things for certain, don't even bother trying to contact Roberto Martinez.
I'm sure he wouldn't and couldn't be enticed with the offer of a cup of tea and then be expected to clean up the mess left by old whiskey nose and Gollum.

So enjoy the transfer window. It should be interesting to hear of all the big names you'll be linked with who'll knock you back. Just don't come back to Everton Mr Moyes. Leighton Baines, Ross Barkley, Seamus Coleman and James McCarthy are all UNDER contract and are NOT for sale; not that you'd be able to afford them anyway.
Look forward to the Capita Cup game next week. It should give you an expensive day to look forward to at Wembley where you'll be humbled by your closest and noisiest neighbours once again.

Daveyboyboy Blue

1.) A bit frustrated mate? I have the number for a councillor if need be

2.) Yeah right! Enjoy the ride, it won't take long.

3.) How you make me laugh daveyboy .Were in a transitional season which everyone knows.Where have your taunts been for the last 20 years.Your a small club which is over achieving at the moment. Were a massive club which is underachieving at the moment. We'll be back & everybody knows it.We are & always will be a bigger club than yours so don't be jealous enjoy your 5 mins of fame.

4.) LOL, You guys don't know when to quit. Nothing has changed and life is good and looking forward to a good weekend of golf.

Oh yes United lost a game yesterday but we have lost before with better teams against worse opposition and will lose again in the future. Come May we will see where we are.

as a side note, I am willing to do is give you any wager that you will not play CL football next year and we can nominate one of the eds to make sure both parties pay up.

What do you say?

5.) Oh let him enjoy his season lads he won't get many of them.

6.) Come back when you grow a pair and make sure they have dropped :)

Just wish to retract the entry above as you have finally printed my comments. Many thanks for that.

Daveyboyboy Blue

1.) Have you now calmed down, wiped the snot from your nose and froth from your mouth? Your talking to the wrong people here from an Everton perspective.
You should be talking to people who give a s**t.
What is with this page at the moment from some Everton and arsenal fans. Probably will disappear in a month or two as usual.

I'm not sure if Ed001 will allow me to comment as other posts have not made it on to your site but let's try.
Moyes is currently being castigated from pillar to post but he was chosen by Sir Alex- illegally if you remember as he was still under contract at EFC and there was never any official approach to our chairman. Why has SAF and Sir Bobby been so silent despite rising resentment? Their silence speaks volumes and suggests that a mistake was made. I also hear that the 'Chosen One' boarding will shortly be dismantled and is this an admission that SAF overstepped the mark regarding Moyes's appointment?
I'm hoping that the Eds on this site post this because my feeling is that Moyes is being offered as the sacrificial lamb when it was Fergie who made HIS decision and was clearly the wrong one.
Sir Alex are you prepared to admit your mistake?

Daveyboyboy Blue

{Ed002's Note - I explained what happened at the time - "illegally"? - it is friends talking to each other.}

7th to 2nd Plymouth? So I take you have also conceded the title? When I looked at the table this morning I thought you were still top?
The sight of the diving, cheating, canabalistic water rat blabbing his eyes out at the end like some demented child on the naughty step made my night. Ha Ha Ha!

Player of the year? FELLAINI for believing all the hype about Utd and living up to his price tag

Young player of the year? POWELL for moving to Wigan on loan and thus protecting himself whilst the flatscreen hit the fan

In the same way that Woodard offered a joint bid of 30 million for Baines AND Fellaini back in the summer? Well we know all know where that got you after the panic 27.5 million signing of the mop on his own! So from here on forget about Barkley, Coleman, Mirralas, Jags and Naismith, because EFC are not selling. Look elsewhere because we're on the up and after tonight your season ends
