Is Matuidi able to sign a pre contract agreement this month ed for the summer? Do you think he is likely to be sold in this window otherwise?

Raymundo!

{Ed002's Note - Yes and no.}

1.) I think definitely worth trying to sign as a stopgap. A good player who is relatively inexpensive and provides another option for CM.

2.) I would sign him permanent he's class. Better than we have got and cheap enough to keep the glazers happy

3.) Mate he will not be cheap, I can assure you of that. If he were to leave PSG, there would be many takers and his sign on bonus would be substantial.

I do not believe PSG have any intension of selling him as he is playing every game for them at the moment.

Apparently we're looking to send Powell to Hull in january. I think that will be another good move for him but if we don't sign another Cm in this window i'd sooner him come back and get a run in our side whilst we're struggling ang get him some valuable game time and experience.

Raymundo!

1.) To be honest from his time on loan he been playing more as a striker so don't really think he would be doing a job in cm for us, same as loan move to.hull I think he will play more advanced than middle of park, true though we need cm in jan I would even say 2 and a cb be nice

2.) Yeah We really need a box to box cm that can do everything rather than being a holding cm or an attacking cm. That would give us a lot more balance but even still we haven't got anybody standing out in midfield at all so recalling Powell and giving him a chance might has got to be worth a shot. I think he would suprise a few given a run of games with our top players

3.) Honestly I think holding midfielder is a must for us some one that can win ball slow games down help back 4, plus means carrick can play ten yard higher get the ball moving to strikers, or kagawa can play in his real position and do same, don't go mad just what I think about best way to solve problems in jan transfer window give a bit of time to get right players for next season

I thought we were a lot better today than we have been in recent weeks. We were well beaten in the end but I thought we were unlucky and Etoo was really lucky. Had hernandez started up top and welbeck inplace of young I think he might have had an hat trick from all the chances. Still conceding so early in the secong half totally killed it and we should have been better but we should take promise from this. THE ONLY WAY IS UP

I know Januzaj has been brilliant but its good to have Fletcher back he's made a real difference

Raymundo!

1.) Would you look at that, Kagawa moved to hole, Januzaj to the left, Valencia and Rafael partnership and we play better. Fletcher was very good in the second half when he was given license to get forward more.

2.) They were in they're better positions the second half and we looked a lot better. great to have rafael back aswell. I don't know about new signings I would be happy to have a full squad at the minute. we would stand a good chance at top 4 or higher if everybody was fit. However we obviously need new signings to get back to being champions!

Vidal might be the answer to a lot of our questions but I can't help but feel we still need a winger that can cross a ball. Even if we changed to sleep 4231 with inverted wingers we will need to use a full winger that can cross as back up and give us another dimension. 2 players are a must in this window if you ask me.

Raymundo!

1.) With Young/Nani/welbeck on the left and Janusaj on the right we do have inverted wingers. and we play every kind of formation at various points in a game with players switching around. All this stuff about inverted, traditional is football manager stuff and it is about the quality of the players. City are leading the league and scoring bucket loads playing a traditional model most games or at least with one inverted and one traditional winger.

We do not have good wingers and guys like Gaitan and Dimaria who people question are a significant upgrade to what we have.

I do realize this might not be a popular statement but ashley young is probably the most complete of them all when you consider, crossing, shooting, dribbling and passing ability. Unfortunately it is a rare thing when he is on form (excluding janusaj as he is too young and still developing).

{Ed004's Note - I think Nani on form is the best of a bad bunch}

2.) Ed004

Nani on form will score a great goal but his tactical awareness and his defensive ability puts him behind ashley young for me.

He will always make some horrendous and poor decisions in the game. I don't know if you remember but he has already cost us 2 points by trying that stupid shot from the byline when we were leading with 30 seconds to go and ended conceding the equalizer.

He is definitely not bright and thick as sh…t you can't teach him that LOL (did the same against Chelsea in the league cup last year).

{Ed004's Note - yeah I understand he lack intelligence but if he was consistent he would be by far the best winger}

3.) Ed004

I was watching clips from united's greatest 100 goals and Nani is in there with few crackers. Unfortunately they are all from 3 or 4 years ago and not sure what has happened to the player that promised so much.

If Juve want him, I say let them have him if it makes the Vidal deal happen or more viable.

4.) I don't see how anyone can put Young above nani at all. However having to rely on either is Suicide. As Ed004 stated Nani on his day is one of the best in the world, My words not his. He can tear teams apart with his ability going forward. However his day is few and far between and given our frailties at the LB you can see why our Left is exploited week in week out.

5.) Jrobbm

Well I do. I think Nani is surplus more than young as young is better playing on the left and nani on the right flank is not required given we have valencia and Janusaj.

6.) Young is Terrible. I mean on a good day he is below Par. He never EVER lived up to the hype about him. He can take on a man. Yes. What does he do with it? he can not Cross for Toffee. Only thing he is good at is going down like a sack of Spuds. Last few games he has not looked as bad as usual, but I fear that is more due to how poor we Looked as a team.

7.) Young gets in the side before Nani for me. The fact that neither of them are good enough for United is another matter. Nani has had at least 3 seasons too many at United.

Not long now until the transfer window open lads. Who do we all see us trying to buy and do you think any of other big clubs will go all out?

Raymundo!

1.) I see Chelsea spending a big sum of money this window tbh, mour wants a striker and CMer to challenge on all fronts, I see us maybe signingca LB and CMer at best

2.) Yeah Chelsea obviously need a striker and I think mourinho will want to make a bit more of a stamp on the chelsea team. i'd take a Lb and Cm but would welcome a left winger aswell. I Know we can't expect too much but moyes needs to start taking the shape of His united side.

3.) I'd love an exchange deal involving Hernandez and Kags leaving to Dortmund and Reus joining. Powell can do what Kagawa has been doing, and BVB will be loosing Lewandowski to Bayern soon so they'll need a replacement

4.) I see Chelsea going for another striker, City going for absolutely anyone they fancy. Liverpool need another forward and probably a defender. Arsenal just need more players.

We all know our weaknesses, I think Coentrao and Griezmann could be the two. Strengthen the left side and get by with Jones covering in midfield till the summer is what I expect. Although a surprise move for Cabaye would be nice.

I would be very happy if we could get in mata shaw and vidal before the end of the window. We would be a totally different side. The board actually seem to be trying to change things quickly for a change

Rooney was brilliant tonight. Work rate top nothc all game and was flagged offside wrongly 3 times when he would have been clean through. How we've missed him upfront all season!

Some people can't help themselves. Only 5 points off 2nd playing as we are. We shouldn't really complain, when things do start to click we could be flying high. Bring on cambridge now and let's have a good go at winning the fa cup!
