This window has been nothing short or embarrassing. 20 points of city last year we've done nothing to improve. if woody isn't gunna trust jose spending to take the team on, then why have jose here in the first place?
The quality of players moving around and the money being paid, we should have been writing cheques for fun!
‘We can do things financially that no other team can’! Pull the other one! Everton have done better business.
Lets hope this feeling of doubt doesn't effect the players, or maybe im just being glum
C’mon united!

What's embarrassing is the amount of hissy fits over transfers. If better players aren't available at the right price than what we already have then why spend money needlessly? I think it's quite admirable that we've not just wasted money we've strengthened midfield and it's time for mourinho to stand up and be counted and actually coach because believe it or not he's bought 2 new cbs already and as it stands we have one of the strongest squads in the league. It's up to him to get the best out of them. Comments like "It'll be a tough season with the players we have" won't help his cause.

There is still the possibility of improving without new signings.
Get players to gel, understand the system better, get automatisms going, develop talented players, change of player positions to better suit their skill set etc.

I know Jose is not know for any of these things, but the club has it in the DNA actually.

Let’s hope for the best and have a look at the results and progress before panicking.

Problem is, allot of teams can offer the money united can now. The only players united need to sign are stars and the club does not really appeal to stars at this point in time.

4.) 10 Aug 2018 11:31:50
Alexis Sanchez, Andreas Pereira, Fred have come in and only Daley Blind has left so far. However you address the situation that is still an improvement to last season. Sanchez signed in January but it was always said it was for this season.

Mourinho wanted a defender, would a defender have really made that much difference? Our issue is our identity under Mourinho.

If Luke Shaw has a positive impact then that would be a bonus. If the board have really blocked signing ageing players for inflated fees then well done to them.

this is spot on

Wake up United fans, we're going down the pan fast and will just go further and further down the table if this rot is not stopped and quick!

Glazers Out! Woodward Out! Jose Out! (if his football doesn't improve and quick!

A hissy fit would usually be followed by ‘we done’ or something along thise lines, anyone with any sort of knowledge can see a handfull or players that moved this year would improve our squad, the problem isn't wether we spend or not its what we spend on, look at the money for sanchez, we could have signed 2players on his wages alone, just to spite city.
Several first teamers are not doing enough to cement a starting spot and jose i right to point it out, would 2 or 3 younger hungry players not give shaw, martial (and dare i say it pogba) the kick up the backside they need?
Its not all doom and gloom as mentioned by IM7 there are a few to come in that fingers crossed are what we were missing last year, just don't want to be sat here on feb 1st saying same things, or reading jose out!

7.) 10 Aug 2018 13:49:35
Ffs the window is closed get over it and get behind the players we've got .

I surely cannot be the only person who is sick and tired of coming on here and seeing the same crap day in day out we support Manchester United not jim white and his yellow deadline day tie .

8.) 10 Aug 2018 16:01:28
Well said red wolf my thoughts we should start bringing talent through the system like we always have and build a good foundation like the class of 92 i no it’s a long shot but at least we are giving them a shot we have some really good talent coming through what’s there to lose.

9.) 10 Aug 2018 18:18:28
Deano,

I assure you that you aren’t the only one, once the kids go back to school we should see less tantrums on here during the day and people can have sensible discussions.

10.) 10 Aug 2018 21:00:50
What were your thoughts on Moyes and LvG, GDS2? Glowing reviews I'd imagine?

11.) 10 Aug 2018 22:31:01
Sepp,

Not sure what that has to do with anything above or why it’s relevant at all. If you don’t think some of the posts above aren’t hissy fits and a little pathetic then I don’t know what to say.

12.) 10 Aug 2018 22:42:01
I'm sure you know what I mean. There is more than 1 way to support the club.

It's fine, roll on the new season. I'm sure it will be world class.

13.) 11 Aug 2018 00:03:12
You think the people above are ‘supporting the club’?

14.) 11 Aug 2018 02:23:42
Personlly I think the defence held up well considering first time in premiership partnership and good play in patches and a result. That'll do for me.

Having had a night to sleep on the fact uniteds recruitment team decided to go on holiday last week, i'm terrified of the fact jones and smalling could start more games as a pair this year, frankly neither are good enough and together they are a disaster, surely the board can see this is not an ideal start to what could be the defining season in mous united career.
having said that i'm quite excited to see what the younger players (-tfm) can do this year, certainly leaves plently of playing time for a few to really shine.
Glad to be reading some more positive posts on here.
Back the boys! We are united!
