Ok guys let me start again. I'm more concerned about the quantity of players Lfc have bought not the quality . Yes I know we get the big names. but apart from a handful of superstars we have signed. not many have gone to the great heights we paid for them. Veron. kleberson. berbatov. just to name a few. I guess what I'm saying is why should we always pay a premium for players who don't actually make us any better. Be better to sign championship players who want to wear our shirt and play for us. And not use us as a bargaining tool with their own club. not

I would be far more concerned with the quantity of the players being signed if I were a Liverpool fan. Last season Rodgers tried to combat the loss of their best player by bringing in a large volume of new recruits. The majority of these players either took time to settle in or didn't gel with the rest of the team. The result being a poor season. This year he is doing the same thing, and Liverpool will be in for a very trying opening few months as Rodgers attempts to integrate all these new players into an already disjointed squad.
We have a few areas in the team that need to be improved (rb, cb, cm and possibly a new striker depending on who leaves). The management team is aware of this, and have obviously identified players that fit with the squad and will improve us. Hopefully we will start to being in these players soon so they can integrate with the squad. I am concerned that we may be being used as contract leverage by some players, and I hope that your attention isn't being diverted away from genuine targets because of this. However, bringing in enthusiastic players who would love to play for us is not an alternative strategy. If we want to challenge again we need a few quality signings that fit with the squad and system.

We are, hopefully anyway, looking at the top of the table not at 5th and below, I don't see arsenal, city or Chelsea having signed anyone yet (cech aside) and we have signed Depay. Liverpool have signed players we obvs wasn't that interested in or willing to fight for anyway, of all the players they've signed only Firmino I'd be envious of but at what £28m. We are obvs working on transfer deals as we speak so don't panic cpt mannering (or is it manwaring, I never know).

But quantity over quality is precisely where they went wrong last season, its the opposite of what we should aim for.

You are right though, some serious panicking going on at the moment. I was confident about getting all our targets sorted before the end of July but with PSG and Citeh now back in the game it becomes much more difficult.

Well hopefully Bruno realises that Barcelona only want him, so they can loan him out to get the signing they really want which is a striker from Valencia I believe
Depends on what Bruno wants from his career, To be worshiped at MUFC or quite easily be a bench warmer at Barcelona, Hopefully he makes the right decision and is an absolute star for us . Just the pick me up us fans need right now. Feel more comfortable tho when he is pictured holding up our shirt.

On a serious note and how far we have fallen. Spurs enquire about Bergwyn. Two days later he his having his medical.
Where as we spend alomst 4 weeks chasing Bruno and we are still no closer to signing him.
The board, The manager, The so called superstars in our team are dismantling this club brick by brick.
I fear for our future as a footballing power house.

The truth is the club don't want to give Ole 50 million to spend, When they have every intention of sacking him in the summer. They would rather the new manager has a pot full of money to piss up the wall again. Our club is funnier than the one on Phoenix Nights.

Levy has a new stadium to pay for.
Doubt the Rose or Erikson deals would bring in that much return
Think jose is just indicating how in adequate we are at the minute regarding transfers.
I could be totally wrong of course, But I feel Levy is more of a tight wad than what Woodward is.
