Its almost painful watching Pogba cruise round. He doesn't play like he cares at all. Should have closed the kante shot down.

1.) 13 Mar 2017 22:22:37
WAlking off the pitch hugging conte laughing and smiling not a care in the world. Needs to be took aside and talked to!

{Ed025's Note - that looked bad rogie i agree mate..

2.) 13 Mar 2017 22:25:38
Have to be honest I was expecting more from him. he talks the talk but that's it, then again he's still a young lad and not many young lads can dominate a midfield. He does need to roll his sleeves up though and worry less about what colour his hair is going to be.

3.) 13 Mar 2017 22:45:34
waste of time and waste of money.

4.) 13 Mar 2017 22:51:10
I know the price tag isn't his fault but he really could at least look like he's trying. He's about as mobile as Fellaini but with a few flicks and tricks.

{Ed025's Note - he is still very young 2toms and i think he has talent, but i must agree that he needs to show a bit more grit mate..

5.) 14 Mar 2017 01:22:31
He seems like he's jus not motivated at all. Too much ego in him.

6.) 14 Mar 2017 07:21:39
He's more frustrating than a young Ronaldo with only a fraction of the talent.

7.) 14 Mar 2017 07:47:05
From what I can gather regarding Ronaldo there was pressure from within the dressing room for SAF to have a word. Sir Alex duly obliged and the rest is history. Ronaldo wanted to be the best player in the World and put hours on the training pitch honing his craft, Pogba spends hours having his hair done, he needs to knuckle down and get his act together.

8.) 14 Mar 2017 15:51:27
He needs a spell on the bench- it'll teach him a valuable lesson that he is far from irreplaceable and must do more. Lad has potential but always tries to make the simple difficult. Last nite wasnt a surprise as we are still a work in progress but herrera challenge was silly and immature. He has been picking up more and more cards lately for stupid things and another one who needs to watch he doesn't overplay / get caught with the ball.

9.) 14 Mar 2017 09:40:40
Totally agree ed025. He just frustrates the life out of me. I want to see him grab hold of games. Mourinho today saying he was the best player on the pitch?! Good management or blinkered?

{Ed025's Note - im afraid good management and jose mourinho cannot be in the same sentence these days 2toms, if anyone out there has found a plot..please return it to jose as he seems to have lost one mate..

25 Jul 2015 11:50:32
The surprise is Gerrard on loan!!

Now that would be a f'ing surprise

Ruudvanhorsehead

1.) 25 Jul 2015 14:47:00
More chance of seeing Santa Claus in the flesh than Gerrard in a united shirt lol.

2.) 25 Jul 2015 17:45:21
Funny how someone on these pages still hit the 'agree' button

3.) 25 Jul 2015 22:20:31
As much as I dislike the guy it would hilarious to see the internet meltdown.

4.) 25 Jul 2015 23:38:00
Give Gerrard the chance to FINALLY win the EPL

Well if this week is a quiet one then it's going to be a long long season.

I can't help feeling that this will be JM last with us.

He has never truly looked settled in the north.

Question is, who next after him?

I don't want panic buys either. Use the youth. True football fans will be more patient with this side if we were developing the exciting talent with in the club.

Anyways. roll on Friday. I miss the football.

Ruudvanhorsehead

1.) 05 Aug 2018 12:15:04
I think as a club the most important thing we could do as a club is appoint someone who gets it. Use the youth like you say, Jose has already alluded to the them, but that they’re so young. There’s a big talent pool, I’d love José to give us 2 more years, hopefully win a trophy or two then maybe see how Carrick is doing coaching wise etc.
Whilst it doesn’t look like it, there’s a hell of a lot to be positive about for the future.

2.) 05 Aug 2018 12:23:01
Laurent Blanc?

3.) 05 Aug 2018 12:26:50
Although it’s pre season we have seen the style of football Pep, Poch, Klopp, Sarri and Emery will employ attacking football then there is us with Jose. Does anyone actually believe we will not see the same dire football Jose has given us these past two seasons this year too. I think this is going to be on part with his last season at chelsea.

4.) 05 Aug 2018 13:00:32
Agreed Jamie. Unfortunately, we'll play the same style of football, with a no lose attitude at the expense of everything.
All other managers you mentioned will play attacking football. Liverpool have made the best signings that improve their weaknesses. City are City, head and shoulders above us. Leaves arsenal, chelsea and Spurs. Arsenal looking good in preseason and Chelsea have made a couple of good signings. Spurs are the only ones who have not invested yet.
I think we're 4th at best, and if we sell Pogba and Martial with not suitable replacements, then we won't make top 4.

5.) 05 Aug 2018 13:39:54
Papers were all claiming Zidane is lined up to take over as and when Mourinho leaves. Also read today that Gerrard would only be interested in Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal if he does well at Rangers, would be an odd one for sure.

I personally would go all in for Poch, young and seems to get the best out of his players and develops youth well.

6.) 05 Aug 2018 13:46:16
I would take Zidane in a flash. He hasn't done too bad has he?

{Ed002's Note - ZZ has no interest in coaching this season at all and may well look to the option of becoming a Sporting Director/Director of Football. Sam Allardyce will be available to see the season out if needs be.}

7.) 05 Aug 2018 14:37:40
Ed, think the reports, including the BBC, where about United preparing for him taking over next season should Mourinho leave.

8.) 05 Aug 2018 15:04:27
Ed,
I really hope Big Sam is not needed ha.
I wonder if Giggs might be asked as an interim.

9.) 05 Aug 2018 16:06:36
I always wonder would we be any worse off had we not just given it to Giggs when Fergie left?

10 May 2018 21:11:47
Why is it that when I watch this Utd side without Martial and Rashford I feel like I wanna sleep!
Zzzzzzzzzzz

We are like Liverpool under the fat controller.

I hope we bring some excitement next year.

Ruudvanhorsehead

1.) 10 May 2018 22:47:27
I don't know mate, those two both played against Brighton and that was even worse (hard to fathom) .

Watching City and Liverpool only goes to highlight further how woefully tedious almost every game we play in is to watch. Shame.

2.) 10 May 2018 23:44:06
Isn't the point here that the two top teams that everyone likes to watch in liverpool and citeh play attacking football, some have said but yeah what has klopp won, well being in the final i think helps answer that one, most young footballers from europe all want to play for liverpool and citeh because of the buzz surrounding the club and how the players exude confidence and the joy wanting to play football as united used to play it, do united exude that same air of excitement and anticipation?, even finishing 2nd doesn't seem to be lifting the malaise that some believe has set in, maybe the summer signings will turn things around, but i have a feeling that if martial is sold, and goes to a club who put their arm around him and coax him along rather that trying to sergeant major him into doing things, i reckon he'll turn out to be a better player than mo salah, if i'm wrong then okay, i just hope jose lightens up a bit, he's a top manager for sure, but this earning his trust thing is s bit too devisive for me, he should take them out on the lash, let everyone have a bitch about whatever issues are weighing them down then wipe the slate clean and crack on from there, otherwise the chinese whispers old tosh could set in, and nobody wants to see that-right where's that barley wine gone.

Come on the boys and girls.

Predictions for starting line up tomorrow.

I think we might see TFM feature at long last.

Ruudvanhorsehead

1.) 31 Mar 2017 22:07:09
The way things are going atm the under 11s will be playing tomorrow.

2.) 31 Mar 2017 22:09:17
Ronnie will be ecstatic then lol 😂;)

3.) 01 Apr 2017 00:19:31
Hahaha 😂.

4.) 01 Apr 2017 08:35:04
We have enough depth to more than compete. If we really are down to the bones stop crying and throw TFM and Axel in. Go with an attacking lineup. We are United.

Mata is a big blow nonetheless.

05 Mar 2017 08:10:37
I think zlatan being banned might help rashford and martial.
Too often is he allowed to complete a game even if he is having a stinker.

Pogba needs to be dropped. He needs to stop with the show time hair cuts and start delivering game in game out.

I'd take Herreras energy any day of the week.

Also how long is Miky out for? We miss his class.

Ruudvanhorsehead

1.) 05 Mar 2017 08:48:11
I'd take Herrera and Carrick over Pogba any day of the week. The former two are planets ahead of the latter.

04 Mar 2017 14:28:44
What on earth!
We seemed to get worse as the game continued.
We showed a real lack of experience today.

Story of our season in the league.

We’d have to be tits to spend that on an old man.
He fits Italy. slower pace and he will get a stack of goals.

We need to look forward!

What is his deal.
I don’t see how a guy that has all this in front of him looks so out of shape.

I read somewhere that his attitude at Southampton was poor too.

God I hope not.
Bale is a spent force. Let him go to Arsenal. Their medical team have experience in looking after glass ankles.

I would also call it bull.
With numbers floating around, Kane will be 12-14 million.

I would take him in a heartbeat though.

Ed’s,
Who do you think is most likely to move at this stage?

Ruudvanhorsehead

{Ed002's Note - I cannot answer “most likely” questions.}

I agree.
oh do I wish Carrick was a few years younger.
Gives our team a different balance.
I'd drop pog and have carrick and Herrera in there.

Ed,
Do you think he has a claus to say he plays?
He has been coasting in every game I have watched this year.
He needs a reality check.

Ruudvanhorsehead

{Ed025's Note - ED004 seems to think he needs resting, i think he needs dropping myself RVH, his level of performance has been very poor and i dont care how much he cost...stick him on the bench!..

Perfectly said!

Ruudvanhorsehead

{Ed004's Note - Honestly think Pogba needs rested or we need cover for him. We are going to burn him out and probably the same for Ibrahimovic (ban came at the right time). It was always going to be a tough game and we didn't look like we had the stamina to compete against 12 men unfortunately. International break can't come quick enough for once. Must say Rojo was immense again tonight.}
