"Jose wants to sign a new left and right over the next two transfer windows. [james ducker] #mufc"

I'd be amazed if he didn't want that.

Sydney!

1.) 28 Nov 2017 16:36:53
James Ducker, mystic bloody Meg. Lol.

2.) 28 Nov 2017 17:20:07
I asked him for the lottery numbers. He said its 6 numbers between 1-59.

3.) 28 Nov 2017 17:31:57
The predictions of a man named James Ducker
Are obvious even to a sucker
Jose wants to sign
Two players, that's fine
Now bring it on Pep you mother-f.

4.) 28 Nov 2017 17:32:19
I know, Jose what's a left-back and right sided forward. No sh! t haha.

5.) 28 Nov 2017 22:59:58
RWWD is the winner of this weeks best post 🤣.

Qatari Royal family trying to buy Manchester United apparently. Be very surprised if Glazers sold without legacy bonuses or whatever.

Sydney!

1.) 02 Sep 2017 20:42:44
Old story doing the rounds from 2011. i think the glazers will see through one more round of tv deals at least before selling.

2.) 02 Sep 2017 21:05:14
Yes I have no doubt this is regurgitated news. And I think with Brexit we will have the Glazers for many more years. Just my opinion.

3.) 03 Sep 2017 02:43:49
Surely Brexit and the resulting weak pound makes it a more attractive proposition? Or would it be purchased in dollars as it's listed on the NYSE?

4.) 03 Sep 2017 09:10:58
Unless after seeing how transfer fees have gone this year they don't want to be spending 300 million every summer.

5.) 03 Sep 2017 11:40:55
USD probably going to be smashed soon, (already getting hammered), so whilst GBP and USD are weak it may be an opportune time for a deal. Especially with Qatar sanctions and other geo-political problems emerging in Qatar they may want to act quickly to secure more solid overseas assets that aren't dependent on natural gas for example.

6.) 03 Sep 2017 13:14:44
Im sure Ed002 mentioned maybe 18 month back that the Glazers were actually looking to sell around now, can any of the Eds confirm this?

{Ed002's Note - The exchange rate has shelved plans most foreign owners had for selling for now.}

Ibrahimovic to sign next week, but Lukaku to remain the main striker.

This would indicate he'll be fit before January.

Sydney!

1.) 21 Aug 2017 06:26:47
Did the ed not say the return of ibra would mean the end of martial?

2.) 21 Aug 2017 08:14:11
I don't think Martial and Ibra play in the same position. I do think Martial and Rash are strikers, but will be used as wingers, so that leaves Lukaku as our only striker. It make sense to have at least 2 natural strikers.

3.) 21 Aug 2017 12:30:38
I don't see how, Martial will continue to operate from the wide left and Jose has said what a change there has been in Martial.

4.) 23 Aug 2017 13:52:14
wouldn't be the end and is quite laughable to even suggest it.
Ibra is purely another option as he isn't like the other strikers we have.

20 Aug 2017 19:19:12
Ibra to sign next week. Lukaku will remain first choice.

Does this mean he's back sooner than first thought?

Sydney!

1.) 20 Aug 2017 21:05:14
I hope he is 2nd choice and his ego doesn't demand a starting spot, we look miles more fluid and dangerous on the counter without him.

2.) 20 Aug 2017 21:17:29
Agreed, not a bad player to have on the bench though. And the other players love him so he is no problem in the dressing room. Not this one anyway. We already have a massive team, imagine chucking him and Fellaini on for set pieces when we need a goal. Along with all the other tall lads in the side.

3.) 20 Aug 2017 22:52:39
Great news. can't have too many winners knocking about the place. i'm sure he has been made aware of the pecking order. The players do appear to love him and what he brings. It also gives us a more like for like replacement if lukaku gets injured so we won't have to alter the way we play.
He brings a lot to the camp and is a good example for the young lads to follow. A great option off the bench he scores goals.

4.) 20 Aug 2017 23:49:22
I woulsnt want him if it means we will lose Martial.

5.) 21 Aug 2017 03:49:44
Could he play 10 behind Lukaku? Could push Miki back out wide again. Can't see Ibra sitting on the bench when fit.

6.) 21 Aug 2017 06:23:02
Look a better team with out him.

7.) 21 Aug 2017 07:50:50
I think resigning him is okay if its about squad rotation. i would not want to see rash or martial's place compromised in the line up as we lose a lot of our speed and things slow down when ibra is in the line up.

I think if we sign him it will be on our terms.

8.) 21 Aug 2017 08:50:14
Push Mikki back out wide? Is that the Mikki that has four assists in two games playing centrally, won German league player of the year playing number 10 in a non Bayern Munich team and is far less effective as a wide player?

9.) 21 Aug 2017 09:37:49
Can't argue with that Man from Manc. Miki has looked immense in his actual position. Funny that.

10.) 21 Aug 2017 12:06:27
I agree completely that Miki is best played centrally. I would not change the starting line up right now, other than maybe a wide right player for Mata. Or a fully fit and on form Shaw at left back.

I was just suggesting where Jose might play Ibra of he is back fit. I think he will start more games than not.

11.) 21 Aug 2017 12:18:32
I don't think Zlatan coming back will have any impact on Martial. Martial hasn't played up front under Jose. We're short on numbers on out and out strikers. This is a welcomed addition!

11 Aug 2017 22:48:19
Bruno Amorim, another Bebe type signing?

Sydney!

1.) 11 Aug 2017 23:28:56
Think its more for the under 23s than the first team.

2.) 12 Aug 2017 06:12:30
Sydney. Good to c u again posting regularly. Done with your sabbatical?

3.) 12 Aug 2017 11:36:14
Why not? Mendes hasn't flogged is a player for a while. Lol.

Kante would transform our team. Exactly what we are missing. Would nit together our defence and attack. I'd pay all of the transfer dough on him next summer. Fred plus £50m haha.

Sydney!

1.) 14 Aug 2019 22:38:29
Love him Sydney. He is the best CM in the premier league by far. Top 3 in the world. He would turn us into definite top 4. He is that good. Does the work of two. I say we give chelsea pogba and take kante 😊.

2.) 14 Aug 2019 22:38:36
Sounds like a good deal. Then Chelsea can have Fred the Blue.

3.) 14 Aug 2019 23:58:37
Great player, and I thought the ref tonight was very good.

4.) 15 Aug 2019 00:09:25
Best in the world at what he does. There is no team anywhere in the world that would not be improved with kante in it.

Awesome player. Very poor time keeper by all accounts and statistically one of the worst trainer's at chelsea In nearly every stat with the highest absenteeism at the club to boot. Not an easy lad to manage personally and only comes alive when the whistle blows apparently.
Fifth season In a row he has not done pre season training its quite amazing what works for some players it really is.

{Ed018's Note - forget all these ridiculous offers. Chelsea won’t be selling Kanté to United while he’s in his prime}

5.) 15 Aug 2019 01:36:39
What a wee player he is. Watching the game with my young lad, and he said, how much would you pay for him, dad? Not enough money.

6.) 15 Aug 2019 06:17:54
just top 3 angelred? I can only think of one other CM in the world who is in the same league (class) to Kante which is Saul. For me hands down Top 2 CM in the world. So who is your top 3 angel?
Even when not fully fit Kante had a positive impact in the game against us I think. Having said that it might just be biasness from me.

7.) 15 Aug 2019 08:19:06
What ever happened to Veratti? People were saying he’s the best CM in the world less than 18 months ago and now he barely gets a mention.

8.) 15 Aug 2019 08:36:15
Scouse look open at the back again and really lack a bit of imagination in cm.

9.) 15 Aug 2019 09:38:41
I like veratti wazza. But he is not really performing at psg wanted out but can't get his preferred move. Unhappy players early flourish at any club mate.

10.) 15 Aug 2019 16:11:13
Unhealthy lifestyle is what happened to Verrati Wazza. That and Isco in a game against Spain. Verrati is well known to be a heavy smoker and has been caught drink-driving a few times and suffers a lot of niggling injuries.

14 Aug 2019 08:47:01
So what do people think about the Wolves game? We struggled against these in every game last season. Can we beat them at their place? I'd happily take a messy 2.1 win. But definitely concerned about this one.

Sydney!

1.) 14 Aug 2019 08:58:51
Difficult to call still early days in the season. They failed to win their opening game but made significant additions over the summer to an already pretty decent squad. One thing we are going to need is better cohesion in midfield, they ran rings around us last szn. I am going for a messy 1-2 win for us.

2.) 14 Aug 2019 10:33:50
This is our toughie for sure. Wolves are a good side and their manager knows how to play against us.

21 Jul 2019 11:15:25
Good morning everyone. A question for Ed002 if he doesn't mind answering. I've searched the site and couldn't find any latest info. I know Real Madrid would prefer a Bale sale as opposed to a loan move for obvious reasons, but do you believe it's more probable that he could be used in a loan to buy scenario involving a pogba swap, with Real Madrid paying majority of his salary during the loan. What the tabloids would call a sweetener. Thanks in advance.

Sydney!

{Ed002's Note - Wrong page. This is the MANCHESTER UNITED page.}

1.) 21 Jul 2019 12:33:50
Cheers Ed002, understood. So are you willing to tell us who Bale is likely to go to? Perhaps a loan move to Bayern, after they keep getting bids rejected from Chelsea and City for their wide men. They took on Rodriguez in a 2 year loan deal, could do something similar with Bale? Or I could be completely wrong as per usual haha.

{Ed002's Note - Try the appropriate page.}

José's pragmatic, playing for 0.0 draw, boring football which guarantees results.

How we have played since going 2.0 down is exactly how we could have played over 180 minutes if our world class players weren't restricted to playing like Stoke City.

Sydney!

1.) 13 Mar 2018 21:55:27
I don't agree. Stoke played better than this at Home.

17 Dec 2017 13:27:31
Line-up as expected, perhaps bar Jones and Smalling partnership. Should be fine given WBA struggle to score goals at the moment. We'll see.

Sydney!

1.) 17 Dec 2017 16:22:52
Well done to the boys another tough away fixture and 3 points.

The bein sports crew who are never that complimentary of us were saying that if it were not for city united are 3 ahead of Chelsea the defending champions and 9 ahead of Arsenal and people who are criticizing them are not being realistic given City's run.

They also said it was very easy after City's result yesterday to have a let down when many pundits thought Spurs could put a stop to the winning streak and Jose will be delighted.

2.) 17 Dec 2017 16:36:16
We did make it more interesting than perhaps we should have done. It's very frustrating having to watch us rely on defence like that, holding on against a team like West Brom. I can understand why people might look on it negatively but a win's a win and we're on pace for 86 points and over 80 goals. There's not many who would have declined that in advance of the season. It's only relative to City's phenomenal start that it looks somewhat paltry.

Prison, no just been super busy MD. Have glanced on here a few times, but I keep forgetting my password. Plus the wife pretty much fills any time I have out of work. Sancho, vDB and a quick CB would be a great summer. Hope MU can make it happen, but I do worry when it comes to Ed Woodward.

Strange Barcelona are yet to make a bid. He's reasonably cheap in today's market and Koeman likes him a lot. Maybe Pogba is part of Barca's rebuilding plans?

One thing I wanted to say last week, which I couldn't as I forgot my password, was many on here are discussing getting rid of a lot of players and where I agree with most, we must remember that we are in the Europa and we will not want to use our best players in the early stages in that competition. Also that the youth we have coming through should get some appearances this season. Players like Gomes, Garner, Greenwood etc could get some great experience in the Europa League.

I am good thank you. Hope all is well.

I think he's the safest/ best option available right now. His cost should be irrelevant to the fans, unless they prefer it goes on dividends?

He's ready to walk straight into the side. No relocation issues, no language issues. He knows many of the players personally. And he will not be linked to moves away every summer. He's entering his prime at 26.

If he signs, then he will be a decent signing. VvD never looked great at Southampton, but in a better side, he's a better player. We will see, but it's a signing that had to happen in my opinion.

He is young, so is Bellingham and I think he'd have been a great signjng. I think youth isn't a bad thing when playing an energetic role in midfield. I suspect if he was signed, he'd be a bit-part player. He certainly fits the United way. Young, talented and huge potential.

Grealish is very outspoken, so I'll expect some future MU digs once he signs for City. I guess he doesn't want to look silly when confronted with old Tweets or pics.

Sure, when he's into his stride, I mean over short distances. His positional sense and timing is top class, but speed over short distance isn't great, like most his size. Maguire being another.
