I know a guy who had 'Kaka' tattooed on his arm when he thought Citeh were going to sign him. and it was in the paper! Oh, how we laughed.

Not sure if anybody else noticed it, or even if I saw this right. but; everybody has seen the 'lone Rooney' picture, but did anybody see him when United scored the first goal on Saturday? I swear I saw him jump out of his seat but the camera quickly panned away.
1.) Exactly what the press hate. I saw him clap Persie's first goal. Ohh how we love a controversy. Having said that, he did look peeved about something though.

2.) Thing is, Antonio Valencia walked back to the half way line as well. The press make a story out of the smallest action. I reckon Rooney was annoyed about the tackle, and maybe he knew the game was over.

I'm also uncertain that United will sell. I can't see him being used as a sub though, and allowing his contract to run down would be very costly. it would make better business sense to sell him & replace him with somebody who would hopefully earn their cash.
I'm pretty sure Moyes' comments have been used out of context. rather than suggesting he is cover for RVP isn't it possible that he meant Rooney would be played up top if RVP is injured?

You're not obliged to watch them just because you like football and are English. If you don't enjoy it, don't bother! And, tbh, it really starts to do my head in when the crowd start singing 'God save the queen'. I just get the impression they haven't really thought it through.
It's a bit like being absolutely steaming at last orders and thinking about having another pop at the 6'4" hairy one.

Personally, I thought he did ok in his first season - but he didn't set the pitch alight as often as hoped for. It's good to see he sees room for improvement. At least he's not some prima donna demanding to play all the time and thinking he's worthy of more.
