Ok, I say this every time so don't shoot the messanger.
The Vidal deal is still on and the guy where the this info comes from says he is 99.9999995 sure this will happen and within the next two weeks.
He has also heard there are 4 more deals in the pipeline but thinks at least one is a youth player.
Now this guy says the rumour mill is rife at Carrington and goes on like this all through the transfer window but is more reliable than the crap in the paper's.

As a word of warning this guy can be wrong as I once heard from him that Alexis Sanchez was 80% done before he went to Barcelona, he said the deal was a lot closer that the papers said.

Now I was not going to post this as I could look a right eeejit if it does not come off, but it is a rumour site and this is a rumour, so I thought what the hell.

stalyvegas red

1.) Right or wrong this is the sort of thing us fans Want from a fan site and makes this site a must.we all know deals can fall apart at the last minute but updates like this keep us going
Thanks

Staly,

Don't worry you are in good company with the eejits on here, well explained post, said where your source is from and where you got your information, if it's wrong it's wrong, you aren't saying it will happen. Good rumour.

3.) Absolutely right GDS2, I get so fed up of people slating others for posting rumours on a rumour site.

Arturo Vidal will be a Manchester United player, from a couple of good sources

stalyvegas red

1.) Twitter, your mate Gary, and that old guy in the pub who looks like he hasn't left the bar since 1987 and has the natural aroma of stale Guinness farts?

2.) We certainly want him, but I do think we will balk at his overall cost. Carvalho albeit a large transfer fee, would be considerably cheaper as an overall package. Giving his age too, I'd say Carvalho is far more likely.

Hummels and Carvalho to complete the midfield and defence. Although Hummels and Vidal would be excellent.

3.) Come on syd. you are not greedy enough.

vidal, carvalho and clasie. let's improve the first 11 and the squad at the same time.

hehe

4.) Drawback is the Vermaelen rumour I'm hoping it's twitter nonsense

5.) Heard from a guy called Danny he is definiteky coming to united

6.) Lol, last I checked this was a rumour site and not a tell your sources sight, but like I have said before one guy works at carrington, this one will get laughed at but a guy I used to work with is a good freind of Nicky Butt and the third works for the Manchester evening news (not the sport section though. Now like I have said before I am currently living in Ireland and know none of the sources first hand but this has come from 3 different sources so thought I would post it, it is a rumour site after all. On a side note I am all excited cause as much as I like living in Ireland its not home so within the next month I am moving back to the republic of Mancunia.

Ok, don't shoot the messanger, but a rumour orginating from Carrington and through a couple of people to me is that Van Gaal has already signed and also a player has signed(not the young Serb), there are also two other bids for players accepted and personal terms being discussed. Now this guy in carrington is part of the Carrington staff and not a part of what you would call the staff of the football team, but saying that does work with the team when they are at Carrington. Now this is exactly the amount of info he has so he has no names or real specifics like positions but he knows all three of the players are going to the world cup due to the pace of the processes going through. Also the third transfer going through was put in and accepted last night and he thinks it was someone who played their last game for their club yesterday.
Now like I said don't shoot the messanger but this is what my dad told me this morning on skype.

stalyvegas red

1.) I suppose this is all possible. I very much doubt we would announce a signing before announcing our manager and think we'll be doing everything to sign players pre-world cup after last summers debacle.

Players who played their last game for their club yesterday is a little vague. We could be talking anybody from Bayern, Dortmund, Real, Barcelona, Atletico, Arsenal, PSG or Monaco.

I suppose we'll know soon enough. On paper - it makes sense for LVG to be announced tomorrow. If we want to announce signings this side of the world cup I'd expect them to come at the same time or shortly after (owing to the people involved's WC commitments).

2.) Thanks for sharing, its what this site should be about. We can only wait and see what happens but it would be good to get some business done early. I have no doubt that LvG is ours and that we are working on the Shaw deal plus perhaps a couple others. Fingers crossed we can attract the right level of quality this summer.

3.) The daily star (reliable I know) are running a story with Hummels to United, so maybe he is the player who played his last game yesterday

4.) I'm pretty sure hummels is barca bound

5.) This a great rumour and something this site has been missing for a while imo.

Hopefully your right mate I do believe there is a lot going on behind the scenes atm and we are in for a summer the likes of non of us could know or expect.
It's exactly why we all love this club so much it's never boring :)

6.) Barca will only try for hummels if they do not get Luiz

7.) 18 May 2014 20:06:49
I'd say hummels is there number one cb target. Why wouldn't he be. He's miles better than luiz. I'd imagine hummels is one of our main cb targets that Ed02 said we won't get

8.) Luiz would suit Barcelona's current style a lot better than Hummels. Hummels is by far the better player, mind.

9.) Sagna has likely played his last arsenal game

No inside info, just my opinion and yes probably wishful thinking but I reckon Van Gaal will sign.
Shaw
Hummels
Kroos
Vidal
depay or sanchez
I know it's a bit fantasy footballish but I can honestly see this being close to what we'll get, so no pi$$ taking until the end of the window.

stalyvegas red

1.) He will be going for the best and some on here will be surprised by it I think. Shaw will definitely be the one, I think Hummels will certainly be targeted. Wingers could be any of Reus, Robben, Pedro or Sanchez - all of whom are quick and skillful which van Gaal likes. Strootman I think we may go for and one of Fabregas or Kroos.

Been reading the site now for 2 years and decided to register and post, so take it easy please.
I have got to say that I never wanted Moyes in the first place due to his inexperience of a big club and the fact he had won so little. I also now do not particularly like him now for a number of reason's including his defeatism, his lack of tactical knowledge, his apparent rubbish training methods, the unbelievable things his says in press conferences and interviews, his negative tactics and just his general representation of our great club. Now what bugs me on here is that people are being accused of not being real fans just because they have an opinion of him, I hate Moyes for what he is doing to our club and personally want to see him sacked but that does in no way affect the love I have for the club which I have supported from my earliest memories til the day I take my last breath. I live in Ireland now but was born and raised in Manchester, in a family who all passionately support united.
So the point of my rant is that just because people want Moyes gone does not make them any worse or better supporter than somebody who likes Moyes. United is like a family and like the old saying goes you can choose you friends but you can't choose your family, I do not choose Moyes! End of rant.

stalyvegas red

1.) Couldn't have said it better myself!
apparently the people who will blindly support the club no matter what are the only "real fans "

2.) Stalyvegas

Well said

3.) We are all fans and have the right to our opinions. If we all agreed the site would be boring.
I believe Moyes will turn it around given time and will support him until he does. And I believe too many are on his back too soon.
Doesn't make me a better or worse fan than you though.

4.) Top post mate

5.) All the evidence shows that clubs who get rid of managers quickly do badly. Managers who are given time, eg SAF do well.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea?}

6.) Thanks Ed, I quoted what Chelsea had done in recent years earlier. They were decisive and then won the big prizes.

{Ed002's Note - Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. A couple of managers were removed by an advisor to the club rather than the club itself. A couple were no more than temporary.}

7.) Chelsea have under achieved with the amount they have spent and they have not done well whilst changing managers post Jose, lucky in the champions league before you say they won that with a one year manager I would hate for us to change managers every season and I also think Moyes will win plenty of silver ware over a long period of time, the people who are throwing there dummys out just because were not top winning every game, telling us we are blind who think he can do it are in fact and fickle fake supports themselves, more like children than adults which I would not be shocked to find out they are either children or have serious personality disorders lol

8.) Thats my point will red, everyone is entitled to their opinion for or against Moyes, my gripe was people saying that this person or that person is not a proper supporter because of what they think.

9.) Ed002, Chelsea may be the exception that proves the rule. However, given the huge amount of money they have spent on players and managers many may think they should have done better.

{Ed002's Note - Inter Milan, Real Madrid ... - You are clutcing at non existant straws.}

10.) Katef

I have been following since 1968 and in my opinion some people don't realise the danger we are in. Liverpool supporters in 1990 thought it would never end and have had over 20 years almost in the wilderness league wise because of it. Those who imagine it will all come right for us just by giving Moyes more time are guessing and playing with the successful future of the club. They may also not remember us in the 70's and 80's.

11.) Ed
I agree with you and would rather have stability but not for stability's sake

12.) Thanks Katf you proved my point without me having to point anyone of my ten fingers.

{Ed002's Note - A MUFC fan and only 10 fingers?}

13.) Redman
I remember the eighties, and was as big a fan then as I am now. What if we get another manager now and we finish 8th? Sack him aswell? that's not the road we should go down IMO.
I agree stalyvegas. We are all fans and all want the same thing in the end, success.

14.) Will red

Get an experienced manager in temporarily to the end of the season e.g Heynkes and then conduct a proper recruitment exercise. That new permanent manager should have the necessary experience and should then be afforded time and money to get it right. I look back to Sexton in 77 and whilst I feel there are similarities to him in Moyes, even Sexton had won something previously but we knew early on he didn't have the right attributes. I look back to the day Edwards went up to get SAF and remember the list of achievements and that isn't there with Moyes

15.) It's alright all you Moyes haters calling for his head but say they sack him, then what?.Who is going to come in with this squad of players and the apparent inability to buy top quality replacements?.Names please and realistic names only?

16.) Redman
I think whoever is in charge needs backing with some big money. Moyes or whoever else won't stand a chance without that.
He has to get players in this window to give himself a chance, and he does need to win something as soon as possible, with some backing and his own signings I believe he can and more importantly SAF believes he can.
Once he wins 1 trophy who knows what can happen. He was given the job, now deserves a bit of time.

17.) The days of the long term managers are a thing of the past, fergie and wenger will be the last top class managers you will see at one club for so long.look at all the top clubs in europe and even if the managers are successful its unusual for any one to stay longer than 2-3 years, that is now the norm forget fergie s 25 years and wengers term you will never see the likes of that again

18.) John, I mentioned that a few months ago and I agree with you. The world is moving fast these days and changing even faster. No one will stay in the job like fergie did. These days are gone.

19.) Im not saying he will be here for 25 years. But there is a huge difference between sacking after 6 months and 26 years same manager. Somewhere in the middle maybe?

Got to reply to that stupid post by TJF, one simple reason, to play for Manchester United, one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Sorry but I think your wrong, I think someone like Klopp would have got the team playing well and to say they would not is just guessing, the managers you mentioned have a winning mentality unlike Moyes, if they would of got the players they wanted, probably not (due to woodward) but they would have gotten a lot more out of the team than Moyes.
Irrespective of what I think though Moyes is the manager and really needs to sign someone soon to stop this rot, if only temporarily then let's really see what he can do next year.

I agree Red Man, we as united supporters have been spoilt by having Fergie for so long that we think it is the only way that logevity breeds success, if you look at it at the most basic level some managers work some don't and any amount of hope won't change that. Look at Pardew, the second longest serving manager at Newcastle at won nowt.
